Went here December 2nd. Right off the back our table was dirty, and the person who sat us, apologized and said it was from breakfast. Our waitress came over and we ordered our drinks. We got 2 waters with lemon, A cherry jolly and green apple jolly. My friend didn't like her cherry jolly, I didn't understand until we switched up and i ordered the cherry and then she ordered the green apple. The cherry jolly tasted like red Kool aid that sat and the ice melted in it and watered it down. We finally ordered our food which was the bourbon steak with mushrooms onions and crispy potatoes. I substituted my crispy potatoes for, four cheese Mac, garlic green beans and loaded garlic mash. We waited a good half hour before the manager came over there and said our waitress was sick and throwing up in the bathroom and that she didn't finish putting our order in. So she had to go over our order again. An hour later our sick waitress came with our food. (Let me add I went to culinary school I've worked in the field, for sanitation and food safety purposes she should have been sent home)My steak was supposed to be medium well and came back well done, i had it sent back and it came back well done and medium well in some spots, my onions were burnt. At this point I didn't feel like sending it back. Finally we get to desert which was 2 of the chocolate lava cakes with a scoop of ice cream that our waitress suggested and my friend plate was dirty underneath with crusty old food(another sanitation issue). Then our check came and we thought we were overcharged for our sides, no one explained after getting a certain amount of sides, we wouldn't be charged .99cents, that it would be more. The manager finished taking our order and never mentioned that. She did however take it off the bill, but with dirty plates, a dirty dusty restaurant, watered down drinks, sick unsanitary waitress, screwed up orders, our meal should have been half off if not free. We definitely won't be returning to this location. Food was subpar compared to the last...

I’ve always been a fan of eating out, and I understand you get what you pay for, but there are basic standards when paying to eat at a restaurant. I expect my dining experience to be better than what I could make at home, or at least enjoyable. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
Our spinach dip arrived looking like it had been microwaved—cold, unappetizing, and far from fresh. For $13-15, is this really what you expect when dining out at a place that markets itself as “eating good in the neighborhood”? The presentation was lackluster, and the dish lacked flavor and heat.
My son ordered the steak dinner, which was rubbery, flavorless, and seemed like it had been cooked in water with no seasoning. He couldn’t even eat it, though I’m grateful they comped his meal. Others in our group ordered burgers, and they weren’t cooked correctly either.
I’m starting to wonder if the issues stem from corporate, the chef, or perhaps both. If you’re going to offer certain foods on your menu, please ensure you know how to properly prepare and serve them. If frozen food is the route you’re going, it should at least be done right!
The atmosphere has also taken a downturn. It reminded me of the movie "Waiting", with a sad, tired vibe that doesn’t resemble what this place used to be. The entire restaurant, from the food to the atmosphere, needs a revamp.
The one redeeming factor was our amazing waitress, Kelly. She was friendly and attentive, which was much appreciated. I was contacted by the manager soon after posting this review, and he was very kind and apologetic, offering to send a gift card. However, that gift card never arrived.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me very disappointed in a place we used to visit often. I’d recommend being selective and careful if you decide to give this...
Read moreWe frequent this particular Applebee's because of their exceptional staff, most importantly the waiting staff. Many of my family members are hard of hearing, at times making communication a little lengthy and difficult. Not to mention, six children who have many dietary restrictions and food preferences. My daughter in law, who is hard of hearing, always takes the lead in ordering and handles most of the communication between staff and family. Our recent visit, late in the evening September 15 2019 proved once again what a phenomenal waiting staff you have here. Most of our visits are evening visits, and 99% of the time we have been very pleased and blessed to be taken care of by two wonderful young men. Each always being extremely friendly, helpful, kind, caring, patient, going above and beyond in every aspect. On Sunday both of these gentleman were present, each helping our family, to ensure we had an enjoyable evening. As usual our experience was exceptional. So many times people only see and hear negative opinions. Just wanted to say, Thank You, for always making our family feel...
