Ok, let me start by saying, do not listen to the idiots making 1 star reviews, they are complaining about something stupid..first off, yes the Giant is over a foot long, measured it myself, the prices are not bad, could maybe be a $1 cheaper on each side for the giant and regular, but honestly it isn't bad for a franchise. I go to places like this all around eat there as many times as I can before I write a review and I laugh at the idiots who complain about something so stupid that they feel the need to give it 1 star. Look at the other reviews, avoid any 1 star reviews, most 1 star reviews tend to be just idiots. 1 star means rats are running around the floor and the place is gross, not "oh my sub isn't 1ft long" "blah blah I'm a fat guy who wants more food" Now to the review! The staff is friendly, this place is new so some staff are getting used to doing how a franchise does it, they are human, I did get confused the first few times I went in bc where I ordered the first time was where I told them what I didn't want on my sub, but the second time the guy said "tell her not me" in a very rude voice, but oh well I am not easily offended like other people, so one rude person is fine. Other than that one time, every time has been very pleasant, if you have ever been to a real deli, this place comes very second to that, they could never beat a NYC Deli, but they come second. They are by far better than sub way and beat anything in my area. This place is great and worth the food. I am not sponsored by this franchise I just write honest reviews about places I eat so people can get a great idea of what they are about to try, I am sick of idiots on the internet trying to make something sound so bad when honestly, there are no problems with...

I've been a fan of Jersey Mike's since the early 2000's when they opened one in Goldsboro, NC. I would get a 12" Chicken Philly, BBQ Beef or just plain roast beef with lettuce and pickles just about every day on the way to work. I'd eat half for "brunch" and half for dinner later. Saved valuable time and dirty dishes when you're working 12+hr shifts.

Sadly, I was transferred away from my beloved Jersey Mike's and then retired back here to Upstate. Great views, peace and quiet (mostly), four seasons and close to family...but no Jersey Mike's.:( At least, not until now. I was thrilled to find out they had opened a location a mere 70 miles away.

I made my pilgrimage today to reunite with my beloved BBQ Beef sub from Jersey Mike's. I was thrilled that there was no line and no waiting at 11am on a monday and stepped up reading through the menu along the way. What! No BBQ beef listed under the "Hot" portion of the menu? This wouldn't do.

The gentleman behind the counter asked what I would like and I described my beloved BBQ beef sandwich from so many years ago. He didn't even bat an eye. "Sure, we can make that for you", was all he said. By the time I had used the restroom after my long pilgrimage, he had the sandwich cooked and was wrapping it up for me.

Was it as good as I remembered? Absolutely! I'm not ashamed to say it was so good I had to go back to the restroom to wash my hands and face afterwards.

Was it more expensive than something from Subway? Yup. But it was also much fresher and tastier that any sandwich I've ever had from Subway or even Blimpies for that matter (and I love Blimpies).

Not the greatest of service today I usually always go in before work and have had no issues before now there were 3 customers being served by one person and it was only 24 in the afternoon no way possible there was only one person working and when asked for a manager a women came from the back and told me there was no manager currently at this location whether on site or off what kind of place is this normally good food and the one worker worked magic to complete all orders by himself including hot and cold subs for the 3 customers and myself I'm ashamed of what this company showed me today but this worker showed real class and professionalism on how he handled it and at the same time kept to showing me the best sub I'll never forget this experience that I was served by one dedicated and highly motivated worker not once was I given an attitude did he ever request help he just kept working and serving us customers I'm proud to know that as a customer he made sure I had the best possible experience the worker requested me not to use his name but I will say the marine never left him thank you sir as if you see this I am very thankful for your dedication and I continue to plan to go back to this shop time and time again as long as I see him when I go through the door and since I have seen him there he sure seems to motivate his co-workers as much as us customers again sorry for the poor work ethic that's surrounded around you but thank you for serving us customers as well as you do...
