Customer service is lacking, the app and even Google don't show that they close the dining room at 8 PM (I placed a carryout order for pick up at 805) arrive by that time and doors are locked up, no one answering the phone even though I called 3 times (watched 2 employees fill their cups up and talk at the soda machine while i was calling all three times) just to ask what I need to do. Have some girl come out and proceed to tell me the dining room is closed and to go through drive-thru to pick up my order. (It's backed up around the store at this time) they had already charged my card at 759 for my order which when I worked fast-food that usually meant that you already started the order. What got me heated was her telling me "wouldn't is be easier to go through drive-thru with kids) lady don't tell me what would be easier. My kids were hungry AND ALREADY WHINING. We ordered the way we did so we wouldnt have to wait in the long drive thru line. I never freak out on anyone working fast food or customer service, I'm always one to tell other people to calm down. However this made me super angry and as a person that works as a supervisor in retail and a husband that is a manager this girl would have lost her job for telling a customer what would be easier over asking to see the receipt and checking to see if the order was done. I wouldn't have gone in but at least understand that I was not at fault when I placed an order for carryout because the app doesn't recognize your dining room is closed. It's a misunderstanding. Yes I called her a horrible name after this whole exchange. Don't let children be supervisors or managers if they can't handle simple problems like this one. My receipt clearly says carryout and it was run through the register at 759. Half the food was cold when I got it after sitting in drive thru for 25/30 minutes. I'm sorry but never again' Poor customer service is the blame, right next to technology of the app and Google saying the dining room is open at that hour. Read moreIdk what's up with all the 1 star reviews but my experience couldn't be more different. this Wendy's stands out (... From the downtown location) and the workers deserve some credit. First off the place is spotless it's incredibly clean, tables, floors and counters everything is shining like new. The trash wasnt overflowing and the bathrooms were practically glowing and smelled like fresh cleaning products. The fries where hot and crispy and the burgers were great buns soft and patties were not greasy. The drink machine with like 100 drinks was in working order with all the options available... Loved this ! It was super inexpensive under 20$ for two people. I'm not sure if the 1 star reviews came from a time with different staff but the current Spanish speaking staff is really doing a fantastic job improving the business and taking pride in their work. Read moreWork with doordash - I show up go through the drive through because at times their lobby is randomly closed. They inform me the lobby is open which is great. I go inside staff is on their phones, gathered around, completely ignored the fact I was there waiting on a doordash order. W greeted me, the one on their phone started screaming at me. The rest joined in along with their manager when I came back from the bathroom. I got on the phone with doordash to see if I could cancel the order without penalty as I have 0 intent to do business with a place that treats me like this. While I was doing this the staff also called the police on me. Not only was this all incredibly rude and embarrassing to me a potential customer and member of the public to which the establishment is open to and relies on for income, it is potentially going to cause issues with my gig work. I ask management to review video footage and to provide an email to contact me as soon as possible. Side note - I served 10 years in the US Army....
