Do not trade in any games at this place. The only thing "insane" here is the trade in value I got offered for 8 games, NES Console, Game Genie in box (granted it was a beat up box) power pad, 2 controllers, and a duck hunt gun. $25!?!?!?! lol I've never been so shocked in my life. They claim to use price charting but doing the math that means they were paying 12-15% lmao I know rent must be expensive in that mall but wow. Associate blatantly said "well we need to make a profit" Yeah well like I don't know how business works. There is a difference between making a profit and straight ripping people off. I feel bad for people who go in there and dont do their research first. Also the owner might wanna get some new employees the guy working seemed more interested in playing Pokemon go on his 4 phones he was using all at once than helping customers. If I could give less than 1 star I would. BUYER BEWARE. How this place is still in business is beyond me
Update: I went to another game store and they offered me $85 for the same package. I would go anywhere...
Read moreStopped here while my girlfriend and I were vacationing for a few days in the area for my birthday. Was on the hunt for an original Xbox to relive some childhood nostalgia, and was beyond ecstatic to find this location had one IN BOX as well, no less. Place was clean, neat, and the woman who helped me was very professional and kind.
However, the 1 star is due to the fact the system I purchased doesn't even work. Like, at all. It powers on, but the moment it does it flashes red and green, indicating a bigger hardware/internal failure. How did this pass testing? Who tested this? Why the hell was this even marked as okay to sell? It took me less than 5 minutes to come to the conclusion that something was wrong with the console (the disc drive is also broken as well) and what sucks is the fact I live almost 2 and a half hours away, making a trip back to this location...
Read moreMy husband recently purchased a pre-owned Xbox controller from this location. When he purchased it, he was advised it did have a 30-day return policy upon purchasing. What was not implied was that if you return the item, you only receive store credit. However, he wasn't informed of this "policy" prior to his purchase. He informed whoever was working today when he returned it that the employee didn't inform him, and the employee today stated, "It's on the receipt." So it's printed on there to advise people after the fact they buy something that's the policy not beforehand? That doesn't make sense, this should be mentioned prior to purchases so the customer is aware they wont get...
