We went this night to celebrate my son's 25th bday. I had made other plans, but per his request, and after a long time of not having my Asian Zing, we agreed BWW was the place. Let me say that our server was very friendly in taking our order. He only came to our table again after being called, 3rd time to drop off a check, but wait, we were there for 2 hours. I would say at least an hour of that was waiting to order, waiting for the food, then waiting for refills. I am going to go with a positive to try and say he was new, but I have not experienced that bad of service anywhere in quite some time. In a day and age when people want to get out, but can door dash pretty much everything, service is important. In Tracy, there are too many wing options. The one thing BWW has is the atmosphere. Even after telling both our server and the manager, it was my sons bday that day, they offered no dessert, shot, or even a song to him. We had a group of 6, so we needed drink refills that basically came with the final check. There was another lady who was hustling for us, but even she was overwhelmed filling in his gaps. The server didn't even come back to pick up my credit card, I had to ask the other lady that was basically our server to check me out. Before the pandemic, this was one of the spots my family frequently dined at. With 2 sons, wings, burger and fries are always a hit. During football season, its all the vibes. I can honestly say it will be a while before I set foot there again. Previous to this visit, I tried to take my youngest son after his football game on a Friday night. With less than 10 tables filled, the hostess said it would be a 35 minute wait to be seated. I looked around and laughed that there with only 8-10 tables filled I had to wait that long. Crazy!!! Went over to chilils, got our favorite waitress, who spoiled us. Even my son said she deserves a great tip. It will be a while, if ever, before making plans to return to BWW. Hopefully, this was just a one off, bad day. Honestly though, I have plenty of places in Tracy that have much better food, prices and service that make me feel like the great...
Read moreCame here around 9pm Saturday night with a group of 8. We got seated immediately, but that's where the positive experience ended. The food took about 30 minutes to come out, which can be understandable, except our wings were COLD. This isn't an exaggeration for lukewarm wings—they were actually cold to the touch, as if they had been sitting under an AC vent for 20 minutes. On top of that, half of the wings were either very lightly sauced or missing it completely.
We told our waitress, and even told her she could touch a wing to verify just how cold it was. Without another word she left to the kitchen. 10 minutes later, the manager came out and asked, "so what's the issue?" We explained, and she (without a single apology, and clearly aggravated) grabbed the wings and took them away.
When the waitress brought them back out, she set them down in front of us, again without any acknowledgement or apology.
The wings tasted rubbery, so they obviously just washed the sauce off and retossed them to serve to us. In one final act of incompetence, 5 of the wings which should've been dry-rubbed with lemon pepper seasoning were served to us plain.
As fellow restaurant owners, we were pretty shocked with this level of treatment for an issue which was clearly their mistake. We would've had zero issue if management had at least acknowledged their mistake and maybe even apologized, but instead we were treated like a nuisance, all during a night which the restaurant was maybe barely at half capacity.

Read moreIt was in late 2011 that I first got to try BWW in Chicago and it was absolutely amazing compared to what we used to have in Wingstop. Then they started popping all over bay area and since moving to tracy we have this one pretty close by to hangout and chill. Usually I go in on weekends and sometimes on their wings tuesday event, my favorite used to be Garlic parmesan, lemon pepper and hot ones. Recently we got cravings for mango habanero and thai curry. Now coming to this particular location. Service : The staff is not very knowledgable as its usually young kids handling the day to day activities but a few old timers are good at what they do. Ambience : A typical sports grill kind of setup with people having bibs and crowns mingle among general foodies. Variety : The menu is pretty extensive and they also do lunch now which was good.
Finally the WINGS : The sauces are good not too slimy and not too thick, it coats perfectly around the wings. Personally, I do like bigger wings which they serve with aplomb and the size remains consistent across all my 10 visits. The crispiness of the wings vary sometimes as I feel they do dip some of the left-over ones along with newer ones which is kind of funky. For to-go order they open the box and make sure they have fulfilled the order exactly the way it should be.
Overall, a nice place for wings in Tracy area with good...
