I rarely go to this KFC/Taco Bell except to remind myself WHY I don't try to get food @ THIS fast food joint. Once I ordered completely from the Taco Bell menu and when I got home, I discovered that I had not even ONE taco. My bag was filled with the KFC bowls and cookies. Another time I went and looked in the bag and at a quick glance, it looked as though my order was correct but alas, I had 2 KFC bowls and some tacos instead of quesadillas. I guess it's my JOB as their CUSTOMER to check my bags thoroughly before I leave. Unfortunately for me, I like to be a nice person and since the service is so slow, I hate to jam up the line by going through my bags while other people behind me are also waiting for improperly bagged orders. They're probably getting MY food. Regardless of what I order, I know that I don't have to be careful of the food being hot enough to burn me. I'm happy if it's warm enough so that it hasn't begun to congeal into the sloppy mess that looks like leftovers. (Hard shelled tacos that have softened shells that resemble soft shell tacos. Burritos that have very little filling except for a clump of limp lettuce, soggy chopped tomatoes, cold cheese and sour cream wadded up in one end of wrap.). I enviously reminisce about the food that was prepared for me @ the Taco Bell in Taylors. Sure, the lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream in their burritos are stuffed into one end of the burrito but the burrito is rolled up properly, the lettuce is crisp and the tomatoes aren't smeared into a mess with the sour cream. I don't believe that I've ever seen even one server in our Travelers Rest restaurant more than once within a year but the same holds true in the Taylors restaurant yet the quality of food and service is always better @ the Taylors location. Read moreI hate giving bad reviews. Came here with my 3 year old at 9:10pm. Trying to get home quickly I thought surely we would be done in 30 min and home by 10. No. My order was placed 11 min after walking through the door at 9:21. My 3 year old sat at a table playing and laughing with me while I waited on our number to be called. After a while, I noticed that everyone in the restaraunt was breaking down the tables and the expo as well as removing all trash from the restaraunt. After 20 MIN of NO food, I finally did ask to speak to a manager. First time in my life I've ever asked for a manager. I tried to be polite and explain that my 3 year old probably wouldn't be patient for too much longer. The manager could barely put sentences together and acted like a nervous 14 year old who was trying to talk to a girl for the first time. What I was able to gather from him was some bogus excuse about the computers not working. I might have believed him if I hadn't have sat there and literally watched employees do everything BUT make food. My 3 year old and I spent a full hour at this taco bell. Our order was incorrect and it took a total of 31 min to order and receive our food. I wish we would've just gone somewhere nicer since we spent the same amount of time at a fast food chain that we would've spent somewhere nice. Defeated the purpose completely. Read moreIf you can wait, then go to another Taco Bell like Wade Hampton Boulevard or in Berea because it isn't worth the stop in Travelers Rest. If I could then I would give this place less of a star, more likely 0.1 star for a clean facade. My experience with this establishment is that two out of three visits will be inaccurate or greatly disappointing. I have given them many chances. Today was the worst. I do not expect anyone to contact me because out of all of the inaccurate orders and responses, not one time has anyone contacted me, but if you did then I would like to talk about it. Today my order was repeated back to me correctly but rang incorrectly and filled incorrectly. Had to return and wait, yet again in line, to have food taken and not fully replaced, but said items replaced with wrong ones. How unexpected! Two other items were made wrong and they were standard menu items, ordered as such, but wrong?! I returned home to find the tacos, driven around to wait again, had turned to pudding. Thanks for feeding my trash can at home. My son is autistic and likes what he likes which is why I made a point of asking for the correction, not knowing the remainder of the order was a bust, too.
