"Good Food, But a Frustrating Experience with the Kids Meal"
The food at Wendy’s was great for the most part, and the staff taking orders seemed to know what they were doing. I ordered a basic kids meal for my 2-year-old, who is very picky. I specifically asked multiple times if the meal came with just ketchup, as that’s all he will eat. They assured me that it does, so I trusted them.
Unfortunately, when I got all the way back to the hotel, the meal had mustard, pickles—everything my son wouldn’t eat. So, instead of him enjoying his meal, I ended up having to eat it. While the food was good, it was frustrating because my son didn’t get to eat anything, and I had to spend more money elsewhere to buy him a meal.
I’m sure this could have been fixed if I drove all the way back to have them correct it, but that was too much of an inconvenience. Overall, the food and service were decent, but this mistake added a lot of frustration to what could’ve been a...
Read moreWe arrived around 9:30pm and the order taker started shaking his head because we had a group of 5 people and wanted to dine in. Since they took so long making our food we were still eating our food at 10pm when the dining room closed. They had a very bad attitude when they went to lock the doors and we heard them in the back of the store cussing and saying that we were still in the dining room ! The assistant manager then decided to just stare at us until we left. I worked in the food industry and I get that it can be quite annoying when someone wants to eat in when the dining is about to close, but you still need to be professional about it and what the ASSISTANT MANAGER showed us tonight was not hospitality. I will never be back. The GM definitely needs to have a serious talk with him because that is not okay to treat customers like that, especially when your on the management team😡. Will be calling and...
Read morePlaced a Seventy-eight dollar Doordash order, as we have been planning a funeral for a loved one and none of us have had much time to cook. One meal was missing, one Baconator had NO BACON on it. Two Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers had mustard on them. We had to drive across town to get the corrected items. James absolutely REFUSED to replace the jr. bacon cheeseburgers. The child we ordered them for wouldn't eat them because of the mustard on them. When we asked a final time, the drive thru window was slammed on us. We were not rude. Nor were we seeking free food, we simply wanted the items we ordered AS WE ORDERED them. This is hands down the WORST i have ever been treated by an establishment. Now I have to go home and make food for my child. We will not be back. You never know what people are going thru, a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you James, for making a difficult time...
