Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Troutdale

Believe it or not I have never eaten at a Dairy Queen and if I have it may have been 40 years ago and I just don't remember 😐

This Dairy Queen is located right next to the hotel I staying at, so super convenient and I wanted to give them a try.

I have had blizzards over the years even though it's been a long time, but I died not want one of those I wanted to try a burger and onion rings.

I did not care for the burger at all, it absolutely has nothing to do with the business or the people that work there - I think it's just the burger and it wasn't for me.

I gave a five out of five stars because the customer service I was super happy with. The young lady who took my order was patient and kind with me, when I told her I had not eaten there previously. I explained what I wanted and she made a suggestion which I sent with.

I ordered the single cheeseburger with everything - lettuce tomato onion pickle cheese. I wanted any rings instead of fries and the onion rings were actually pretty good.

I mainly went on here so I can compliment the young lady who took my order and brought my order out to my car.

My wife and I were craving some ice cream, so rather than running to the store to get some we decided to make lunch out of our craving instead so we went to DQ Grill & Chill! We both had the Wild Alaskan Fish Sandwich meal with fries and a drink which we ordered through the app in the parking lot. We then went in, were able to get our drinks, then had only a couple of minutes to wait for our meal! The fries were crispy and hot, quite possibly some of the best fries we’ve had in a while! The fish sandwich was a large portion of breaded fish, tartar sauce, pickle, and lettuce on a bun. It was really good at first….while the fish was hot, but like all breaded fish as it cooled it got kinda mushy, which made the sandwich only ok! After lunch we both were full, but had to order what we went there for in the first place, so we both ordered a Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard! This Blizzard is for a limited time….and it is really good, just sweet enough, but not so sweet that you are sick when you are done eating it! All in all we had a good meal and will return to this DQ...

We come to the location often usually just grab blizzards on our way home in the gorge. Tonight we decided to get food. Nobody in the restaurant but us when we arrived. We placed our order, paid and went to fill up our water cups. Before my son had finished filling his cup the counter girl was giving us our food. I ordered a 4-piece chicken strip basket with gravy. The chicken strips were about 2 inches long and looked as though they were cooked sometime before we got there and sitting under a heat lamp. The gravy was very thick not liquid at all. The fries were cold. The toast was barely toasted. We ordered blizzards to have after we ate. Several people came in after us and people were at the drive through. I was watching the kitchen as we waited for our blizzards. I watched the cook throw a already wrapped burger in the microwave then into a drive through order. I heard other customers order fried food but I could see all the fryers and none of them were used. Yet the orders were...
