Took my girls here for a special occasion "daddy date" before school. Staff was excellent, courteous and kind. The atmosphere is nice and quiet over all. The table was a bit dirty but I wouldn't blame the staff for slobbish customers. The real letdown was that both my kids decided their (fairly expensive) hot chocolates were "yucky" and ultimately decided they didn't want to drink them after two sips. First time in their lives that my kids didn't want to drink a hot chocolate...I tried both and can confirm they tasted like sweet milk but not chocolatey at all. I'm not a coffee snob so I thought the large drip coffee I got was just fine. Everything available was overpriced too, and that's fine, but maybe have something more affordable to offer as well? Not EVERYTHING in life needs to be bespoke, a $1 doughnut would make this place the best hangout in town.
I REALLY like the building, staff, and location, just feel letdown that the cost heavily...

I've been there twice and both times the coffee was not drinkable. They are insanely overpriced, one coffee should never cost $9. There are multiple good coffee places near by that are regularly priced and they actually have good drinks. I highly recommend going to one of the other coffee places near by before going to good coffee roasters. The only reason I went there is because everywhere else was closed at the time. Again the staff were very nice and it's not their fault that the company has overpriced drinks that are horrible. I would never recommend...

It wasn't even a big muffin, it was a baby muffin! That was too rich for my blood. So I left. Not upset, I just don't understand the rationale. It's flour, sugar, and salt, and a couple of blueberries, other than the berries, those are the cheapest ingredients. For perspective, you can order a slice of pizza, and a can of over-priced soda DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET for less than that. Certainly an apples to oranges comparison, but I thought it should be mentioned. I hope they...
