Pad Ped at Bangkok 96 is the best Thai dish I have ever had in my entire life. I have tried it at many thai places and none even come close.
Review of Pad Ped: Pros- Fresh ingredients (Egg plant, Green Pepper, Onion, Mushroom, a basil leave or 2, and some other tasty veggies), Tasty Chicken marinated in curry, combined with a spicy thai curry sauce mixed with coconut milk.
Cons- Not enough Sauce (no problem you can ask for more with no extra charge)
Conclusion: Your left with wanting more but your gut cant fit anymore in... I order Pad Ped (HOT W/ CHICKEN AND EXTRA SAUCE) during dinner ask for seperate rice because they like to combine them.
Other notible dishes: Apps: Chichen Satay, Tiger Chicken, Salad: Thai salad w ginger dressing, Main Courses: Pad Prik, Pud Seew, Pad Thai, everything really I cant remember the others
NOTE: IF YOU DINE IN YOU GET TO TRY THEIR AWESOME HOT-N-SOUR SOUP FOR FREE.....ITS $3 TO $6 ON THE MENU SO IT'S WORTH IT TO DINE IN
A+++ rating I recommend this place over all others and suggest you make the extra trip to experience this place
Lastly, it is always busy so dont go during lunch and dinner rush unless your willing to wait for...
Read moreI came across this gem because my current Thai restaurant has gone downhill. They shrank the portions raised the prices, and the food became bland. Anyways I found this place. It is still pretty close to my house, so I decided to try it for the first time. I found this place on Yelp, it is in a strip mall in front of Walmarts, so my expectations were low going in. I don't know the lady that greeted me and waited on me. She was super friendly. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken, which came out quickly for a Friday night. And I was also impressed with the amount of food I got. I usually do not need a to-go box. Well, let's face it, I am a fat @ss! Lol. The food was delicious, and this will be my new go-to Thai place. Also, another point that I need to point out is that they thanked me for my business. I don't need someone to tell me that, but it is nice to hear. Anywho you should check this place out if...
Read moreI went to Bangkok Bistro for lunch after moving to a new building for work and I was unimpressed. I ordered the Drunken Noodles and they were extremely dry. They had a pretty good flavor to them but the noodles were sticking together to the point of clumping up. That's not supposed to happen in my experience. On top of that I ordered a side of rice and the person I spoke with confirmed my order back to me, when I got back to work I noticed there was no rice so I called them and they told me if I wanted to come get them I could. They ended up charging me for the rice after their mistake that took up my entire break. That's not very good service in my opinion. I think I'll be finding somewhere else to get Thai food...
