Oven 360 Pizza Troy — Restaurant in Troy

I came across Oven 360 in Troy while browsing and thought it looked like a great spot for pizza—plus, I saw a ton of pictures of gelato that looked absolutely amazing. That pretty much sealed the deal for me.

When I arrived, the staff was super friendly and gave me a quick rundown since it was my first time. I told them I was really there for the gelato, only to find out they were completely out because the one guy who makes it hadn’t been around. That seemed like a bit of a flaw in the system—if it’s that popular, having just one person responsible for it doesn’t seem ideal. But hey, things happen.

Since gelato was off the table, I ordered a personal-size Mr. Harper pizza and a can of soda. The food came out quickly, and the pizza was solid. The sauce was a little sweeter than I usually prefer, but overall, I’d order it again.

This is the perfect place to go if you are remincing about your last trip to Italy and want to spare yourself the cost of a flight abroad but still want to satisfy the craving of delicious authentic wood fired pizza and decadent gelato. The pizza is made in front of you with a full list of the freshest ingredients. The meats are hand cut daily and the cheeses of high quality. Every bite bursts with flavor but you don't leave feeling stuffed and weighed down like most local pizza places. This staff provided fantastic service even though we spent awhile deciding what we wanted because everything sounded so good and they were very generous with the gelato samples. Edit: management resolved the issue extremely quickly! Had it again and it was very good! The meat lovers one was especially good! Top notch all around. All restaurants make mistakes, and not only did they resolve it, they showed it was the exception with the next pizza I had! Very impressed!

Flavorless across the board, from crust to sauce to toppings. Just bland as can be.

Look at the picture. I scheduled the pickup for 5pm. Arrived five minutes early. Drove the six minutes home then opened it and took this picture.

The soggiest, floppiest, wettest mess of a pizza I've ever had.
