Tru-Pizza: A Gluten-Free Haven with Delicious Flavor For anyone with celiac disease or a gluten intolerance, finding a restaurant that caters exclusively to your needs can feel like a dream. Tru-Pizza makes that dream a reality, offering a fantastic selection of pizzas and other dishes in a completely gluten-free environment. A Feast for All: The first thing that impressed me at Tru-Pizza was the sheer variety of options on the menu. They don't just offer a token gluten-free crust – they have built a menu around delicious gluten-free creations. From classic favorites like the meat lover's to unique options like the Mediterranean pizza with its flavorful toppings, there's something for everyone. Even my gluten-eating companions were raving about the taste and texture of the crust. Beyond the Pizza: While pizza is their specialty, Tru-Pizza doesn't stop there. They offer a variety of other gluten-free dishes, including pastas and cakes, ensuring a complete and satisfying meal. Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff: The staff at Tru-Pizza is not only friendly and welcoming, but also incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free dining. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the ingredients and preparation process, putting my mind at ease completely. A Winning Combination: Tru-Pizza is a winning combination of delicious food, a safe gluten-free environment, and friendly service. Whether you have dietary restrictions or simply love great pizza, Tru-Pizza is a must-try.

We ordered from Tru Pizza Co (Renee’s Gourmet Pizzeria) for a cozy pizza night at home, and I’m so grateful for places like this that understand how to support allergy-sensitive families without sacrificing flavor. They make things easy. Every allergen is clearly labeled on their website, and I never have to second-guess what I’m ordering—which, if you’ve ever had to manage food restrictions, you know is a big deal. Delivery through DoorDash was quick, and everything arrived hot and well-packed. Let’s start with the deep-dish pizza—ours had vegan cheese and meat toppings, and it was fantastic. The crust was chewy but structured, full of that bready richness you rarely find in gluten-free dough. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the toppings weren’t just sprinkled—they were generously layered. The chicken wrap was another win. Good texture, packed with toppings, and seasoned well. We also got their cheese flatbread, which was simple, warm, and exactly what I wanted it to be—comforting and satisfying. The fries, though, were a miss. They were overcooked, limp, and not seasoned well. My son nibbled at them, but I wouldn’t order them again. On the other hand, the elephant ears were a total hit. Soft yet crisp, golden, and topped with just the right amount of icing. I plan to order double the amount of elephant ears next time!

Heard rave reviews from friends. So I put it specifically on itinerary for my visit to the area. Got 2 deep dish. A BLT and a non dairy cheese with chosen additions. Also got Elephant ears. The deep dishes were really bad. Tasteless cardboard crusts. The vegan cheese didn't melt at all. (I eat pizza from other gf places and the non dairy cheese looks fine). The elephant ears were better than the pizza. Customer service: while I picked up pizza the server kept taking phone orders as opposed to getting my order. (which was ready). It literally took more than 5 minutes waiting for her to get off the phone instead of asking someone to hold well she gave me my order. Another customer complained to her that she was put on hold for 5 minutes when she called in and now that she was here she would really like to pick up her order which was also ready and she was behind me. Also no one there was wearing that that was working.

Valentine's Day 2023 was the first time my husband and I dined here, so we both ordered a few things off the menu, and the total came to $64. We were curious to experience what dining at an entirely gluten-free restaurant would be like, with employees who are cognisant about gluten-free kitchen standards and restrictions. I ordered their 5-cheese thin-crust 16" gluten-free pizza, which cost $21.99, for us to share. It was delicious! However, we didn't care for one of the soft cheeses; it had a slightly sweet taste. So, next time, we'll ask them to please omit any soft cheese that tastes sweet. We did not enjoy the sweet taste of that other soft cheese on the pizza and would prefer to avoid it in the future. My husband loved the chicken calzone with mushrooms and ranch on the side. The macaroni and cheese had delicious pasta, but the cheese sauce was bland and unimpressive. My husband loved their calzone so much that he ordered a second chicken calzone with mushrooms to take home for lunch the next day. He requested ranch on the side but was disappointed to find marinara sauce instead. He discarded the marinara sauce not the calzone. We also took some of the leftover gluten-free pizza home. I loved their delicious Greek salad with romaine lettuce, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese. Overall, we give this restaurant a 4-star review, but there's room for improvement in a few areas: Better ingredients: Specifically, the macaroni and cheese could use a more flavorful cheese sauce. Cleanliness: The bathrooms require attention and could be cleaner. More economical prices: The overall cost of the meal seemed a bit high. Improve pizza toppings: Omit any soft cheese with a sweet taste to enhance the flavor profile of the pizza. It’s not mozzarella. This other soft cheese is entirely different and...

THE FOOD WAS SUPERB! The problem we had was when we placed the order we asked if they delivered & was to yes, but they didn’t say thru DOORDASH so i had no idea it was going to be DOORDASH ! If I new it was DOORDASH I would have used the DOORDASH app to place my order, but because they didn’t say that, I placed the order & was told it would take about 40 minutes, after an hour I called to find out what’s going on & they told me the DOORDASH person just left with our order! Our order was $150.00 & they asked me did i want to leave a tip on my charge when i placed the food order & I said yes! I left a $30.00 tip for the driver & when our food was delivered I checked with the DOORDASH driver if he received the $30.00 tip i put on my charge for the driver & he showed me he was paid $9.00 from DOORDASH ON THE APP THE RESTAURANT USES TO HAVE DOORDASH PICK UP THEIR ORDERS FOR THE DELIVERY! DOORDASH KEPT THE OTHER $21.00 & DID’NT PASS IT ALONG, TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER, SO WE AGAIN TIPPED THE DRIVER CASH BC IT WAS NOT THE DRIVERS FAULT! We called the restaurant & spoke with the woman manager & she was extremely nice & very apologetic, she said the $30.00 delivery tip has alway been passed on for the delivery driver & she had no idea DOORDASH DID THIS TO THEIR DRIVERS! She said we were the first to call & inform her the driver did not get the entire tip & she thanked us for letting her know. IF YOU WANT DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT WHO HAS FABULOUS FOOD MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THRU THE DOORDASH APP & YOU CAN SEE THE TIP ON THE ACTUAL APP THAT THE DRIVER...
