Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Troy

I’m so sad to write this review but am writing to express my concern about an incident that occurred during my visit to your establishment last night. Your employee, Rafed, last night while serving me around 8pm, tried to fight me. I was shopping in the complex nearby when I left and smelled the delicious smell of baked goods. My cat passed away so I was trying to retail therapy and buy comfort food, so I came to your establishment to buy donuts. Rafed was taking my order when he boldly stated, “Is something funny?” Taken aback, I paused. He continued. “Is something funny?” His tone serious. I asked, “I’m sorry - me?” “Yeah is something funny! You’re laughing at me,” he said. I was in awe. Clearly I was not in any state or mood to find anything amusing. Rafed looked maybe 19 years old, and I’m not sure if it was drugs influencing his aggressive behavior or not, but this is not a person who should be serving anyone. I replied, “Bro my cat literally just died, I’m not laughing at anything.” He quickly apologized, offering free donuts and kept apologizing. “I’m sorry I thought you were laughing at me.” This was such a scary experience. I’ve never had anyone accuse me so fast and seemingly want to fight. It was terrifying! He was about to snap. My day had already been a mess and I was just trying to buy comfort food. I highly suggest this employee be looked into before something serious happen to him or someone else....

Please follow me and like. I review family-friendly, kids-friendly places and events. surprise somewhere in review. You might have seen mini donuts making, but this is on a large scale. Krespy Kreme is a multinational but American company. They have kept a transparent glass wall so that you can learn what's going on at the back end. Kids would love and be mesmerized to see how their favorite donuts are made, which they like the most. They might do an educational tour. You can check with the owner. They have limited sitting for dine in. They do have beverages and coffee, which would go with the donuts. They do have a clean public washroom. Store is wheelchair accessible. Lots of free parking available. Customer service is wonderful. They have a huge variety of donuts. And their famous is old fashion glazed doughnut. The correct way is to describe it as "doughnuts." Regardless of your age, you get a free old-fashioned glazed doughnut to taste on the spot. You eat in take out its your choice. It is warm and delicious and will melt in your mouth. However, I do recommend you to please buy something in return. They do keep updating their menu for donuts as per season. You will also be able to pre-order. Price is reasonable. An OK place to get coffee and donuts.

Swung through for the first time this past week after hearing about it for years. I've never been a big fan of their do urs you can get in stores but I was told that getting things fresh from the locations was the way to go. That was true but I'm still not overly impressed.

The location we went to was drive through only, they had their lobby locked, it was about 2pm. That was disappointing has since I had never been it would have been nice to check the inside out and actually get time to read the menu.

We ended up just ordering two coffee drinks and a assorted box of donuts so we wouldn't hold up the line while we tried to figure out what we wanted.

The coffee drinks were okay but way too sugary not enough coffee and not a very good balance of flavors. Basically a below average coffee milkshake.

The donuts were okay. The plain glazed ones were very bland with almost no flavor. The frosted and sprinkled ones were okay. Nothing to write home about but not bad just kind of average.

I know a lot of people are a fan of Krispy Kreme and that's cool but it's not going to pull me over.

A donuts a donut, and donuts taste good no matter where you get them from. But there's nothing that make Krispy Kreme dpnuts stand out above...
