I actually love the store but the experience I had from the associates in this place today was by far not only the worst customer service, Iâve ever had but to be practically accused of stealing or bringing a item back to the store that didnât belong there was absurd. I purchased $293 worth of items on March 10, 2023. One of the things that I purchased did not have a tag and the associate when I purchased it discounted it from $44-$22 I bought the lamp home along with all the other items that I purchased and the lamp didnât work so I bring my receipt and the lamp back to the store to return it. The associate proceeds to tell me that she needs to check the cameras to make sure that Iâm bringing back the right lamp. How embarrassing and demeaning to tell your customer youâre going to check the camera to make sure theyâre not bringing back something thatâs not supposed to be in their store when clearly, I have a bag receipt and itâs marked after voicing my concern the other associate that went to the back to review the camera begins to go back-and-forth with me about the situation. I begin to tell her that whether or not thatâs what the associate was doing you donât stand in a store and tell someone that youâre going to review cameras to make sure theyâre bringing back an item (as if I need to swap out a $22 lamp) thatâs really from their store âwithâ a receipt.    Read moreThis is a review of what happened when I tried to have something returned to the store. My girlfriend ran over since I'm working during the week to help me return something I bought. She had the receipt from the original purchase. The manager told her that they need the card that the purchases made on to make a return even though she had the receipt. After all this I needed to go make another trip. When I got there I asked to speak to the store manager who I found out was not the person I spoke to the day before. When I mentioned that this was the case and that one of her supervisors possibly impersonated her the manager nonchalantly said oh well. She told me that it has been their policy for 37 years since they've been around to have to scan a card to return an item. Digital credit card machines haven't even been around that long let alone chip machines. That has to be one of the stupidest policies I've ever heard of my entire life and literally serves no purpose. Needless to say I will never ever shop at the store again. One other point to mention every single employee there was completely checked out and wasn't really doing anything. None of them wanted to be there.
