Food is always very good, fresh, and plentiful. What you get for the cost, excellent quality and value. No complaints there. However, the service is lackluster at best.
Each time we've been, I have had to literally beg for a drink refill, extra napkins etc. I have, up until today, simply just ignored that because I do enjoy the food so much.
The reason I decided to go ahead with the review is because today's experience, topped the chart for me. Again, no issues at all with the quality of the food. However, as we were finishing our meal the waitress came over and told us not to wait on our check, but to please go ahead and proceed to the register to pay.
At first, I thought she was saying "don't worry about waiting for the check, they will take care of cashing you out whenever you are ready." Yet, 2 minutes after that, she came and literally told my wife and me to get up and leave the table so she could seat someone else.
I was appalled. As a paying customer, I don't believe that there should be an UNREASONABLE time limit given to me for which I may occupy the table. We had been in the restaurant 30 minutes TOPS. Sure, had we been camped at the table for 2.5 hours, not eating, I could see them asking us to please make way for the waiting guests.
Given this experience, combined with each time of the very inattentive servers...having to beg for drink refills and an extra napkin...I will likely not repeat business with this restaurant. It is sad, because as I have said...food...
Read moreYears ago I used to come to this restaurant every week even though I live 45 minutes away. back then the food was amazing but yesterday 16/Apr/24 the food and service was just terrible. I got chicken korma and I understand having a business is about making money but literally they served me boiled chicken cubes with the sauce on top. Surprisingly my gf got butter chicken and was the same boiled chicken with the tomato sauce on top. They might do that to speed up the process but ruining the food like that come on. The korma sauce was so pale and didn't even taste like cashew sauce. Completely disappointed with the service as well. Years ago if I was out of rice or soda they would immediately refill it but yesterday I put my empty soda cup at the edge of the table and she walked by it several times and when she finally stopped at the table was to ask me if I wanted boxes. Look at the korma I got served compared to a...

3 attendants in white/black uniform assist you through the journey. 14 items on the buffet menu plus 1 soup and a couple of desserts. Lamb curry dish was my favorite. I also enjoyed the Aloo Tikki vegetable patties and I found very interesting the Aloo Bhindi Masala (fried okra). If you are in for spicy hot, try the Mirch Ka Salon (orange color sauce with hot peppers). Your tongue will be on fire for 3 minutes but it is worth the pain. All comes with a soft and warm Naan bread basket replenished at will. For a little extra you can indulge the Kulfi ice cream that comes in 4 flavors. The score came short of one star because of the execution on the Tandoori Chicken and a minimalist fruit choice. Overall this under-10$ buffet is more than just a decent...
