Wendy's — Restaurant in Troy

Please somebody help this place out. I visit this location from time to time but only ever order from the drive through. It's always rough but THIS TIME I actually went in to have dinner with my husband, 3 yr old and infant. For starters, the place smells absolutely horrible like dirty rancid backed up pipes. I used the restroom while my husband stood in line. I was appalled by stench and filth. I don't believe the inside handle and door itself had been cleaned in sometime. At this point I was already disgusted and now I had to order food. The young man who took our order was polite enough and gave us no issues when it came time to replace the cold oil soaked fries MY 3 YEAR OLD WOULDNT EVEN EAT! Yikes! I got a Dave's single and it was prepared properly however, the meat was dried out and stale around the edges. My sons bun was so stale I have to peel half of it away and my husband's chicken was also stale and dried out. The tables were wiped but any kind of detail cleaning just doesn't seem to be getting done. The window sills we filthy. Soda machine has dirt in the crevasse of the dispense button. We were completely put off by the experience and will not be returning. If that's how they keep areas visible to customers, I don't want to know how the restricted areas are kept. This store needs help. It's one of the last fast food burger joints heading north before they become far and few and should have a steady flow with a heavy dinner rush. Not a great experience today. I went there because I had a mobile deal that I used for free breakfast sandwich w/ purchase of beverage. I ordered my usual maple bacon chicken croissant (minus bacon because I haven’t had pork in almost 9 years). My drink was a LARGE vanilla frostycinno and I added a medium seasoned potato. I received a SMALL frostycinno so when I mentioned that she stated she would bring me another small with my food when they brought it out after asking me to pull up away from windows because I was waiting on fresh chicken. I had no issues with that because I knew my food would be fresh. My issue though is I didn’t receive a receipt to do a proper complaint and then once I returned to work I noticed that my sandwich still had bacon on it so hopefully the bacon juice doesn’t make me sick. Along with that my chicken doesn’t look throughly cooked inside although the outside looked cooked and they barely put and honey butter on the sandwich which was the whole point besides it being a chicken sandwich. I didn’t get to enjoy the sandwich after noticing that it wasn’t cooked even after not allowing the bacon mishap to stop me which I should’ve just not ate it and took it back but after waiting my 15 min break was over. The slowest Wendy's on earth... I don't know if they are understaffed but there is no signs asking to hire people so I believe it is lack of professionalism... Just stand for 10 minutes on the counter waiting for someone to come take my order... The other day waited for about 5 minutes on the drive thru order station just to say that I had a mobile order.... Update: Give up... Doesn't matter if it is evening or lunch time it is just impossible to have any food under 25 minutes (between asking, and getting the food....) Update 10/nov/2023: 45 (forty five) minutes waiting on the drive thru for dinner time... Update 16/oct/2024: service did improve a lot at least on the time aspect but there are still problems. We did dine in and the order came wrong and it was about 50F inside the restaurant, not joking it was colder than the outside that was around 55F. Update 18/oct/2024: the lady that took my order said that I lied on my order. She simply instead of saying that they did not have the Bacon Cheese Potato she added a Junior Cheeseburger to my order, when I complained she said I told you that it was sold out (she never said anything!!!) and how in h* a bacon chese potato became a junior cheeseburger I have no idea. At least the service was fast but the SAME lady missed the order...
