Winans Coffee & Chocolate — Restaurant in Troy

I absolutely love Winans and have been going g there for years at this point. I switch back and forth between the square and bookstore for convenience. Today I ordered online at the bookstore location. I bought myself a latte 16oz and my son a drink and pastry as i do every weekend. There is a newer girl working there who has messed up on my order before. I went back inside because I stead of a 16oz and 12oz drink I got a 12oz and a pup cup basically...I was charged 5$ for the pup cup of expresso and told I ordered incorrectly. She added the pup cup to a 16oz cup and made my latte. She then charged me again for remaking the drink because "i didnt know". I was charged almost 10$ for a latte today. I even asked why...that was her answer " you didnt know and I made you the right drink". We will not be using the bookstore location anymore this...

I placed an order for 12 bags of coffee during their sale and received a notification my order was ready - when I got there they handed me two bags and I asked “are all 12 bags of coffee there?” Upon checking - 3 were missing - the employee texted and called for 30 minutes trying to find a manager - she finally took my info and said they would ship the 3 missing bags to me-today I received a call from the “manager” who said I can come pick up my coffee - I asked if it could be delivered since I sat there for 30 minutes already waiting for my missing coffee yesterday - she said no then I asked for something for all the i convenience - “I cant give away anything.- I could give you a free drink on your rewards card” all I really wanted was my missing coffee shipped to me like I was promised - so from now on I will just go to...

Lol this was actually my first time here never heard of this place,we were out of town i suppose my review is like most others I have seen the vibe and attitude of the people working the counter. I was going to get some candy that was behind the display case however I did feel rushed in a hurry up and get out of the way feeling when someone came in behind me. The lattee was ok but it tasted a little watery. Way better than Tim Hortons I tried the day before miles down the road. That caramel lattee was terrible. Customer service having a good disposition when customers order makes for a great opportunity to spread by word of mouth how good or bad a place is. Just my...
