Manager “April” is extremely rude. I am amazed when I go to a place where customer service should be expected and they act like they have never heard of it. When it comes from the manager, it shows how dysfunctional they are.
Glad to know I wasn’t crazy because from the reviews others have had similar experiences from the short tempered manager.
I usually don’t have issues at places, I am pretty understanding, but from the start of the order she was pretty hostile. The manager took my order and she gave me a difficult time to order a sauce, saying I can only order 1 even when I offered to pay for more. She was more concerned the meal I got did not come with the sauce I wanted. Again not a big deal, it is a bit ridiculous but there is a way to communicate with the customer and she failed it being hostile. Sounds like she just wanted to say no instead of hearing what I wanted to order and just charge me what I needed. I don’t care how she enters it. Because she was so concerned about the sauce she forgot to enter the small fries. When I pulled up and saw the missing fries I asked the employee the fries was missing, they told me it wasn’t in the order, no big deal it happens, can I order it? Nope, it was an issue, I would have to re enter the line. The manager came, told me the same thing and was concerned only about the drive through time and so no issue in their fault. She got mad that I asked for a refund, and told me I had to come in to get it. Why would I pay for an order that was wrong? Once in she was extremely passive aggressive, and made it seem it was ok to act like this because they were “franchised”. That shouldn’t matter, customer service is customer service. She also lied saying she read back the order. All in all, I am pretty understanding to fast food workers cause I’m sure they get a lot of crap, but when someone isn’t giving any issues and the manager just wants to cause issues instead of fix them that...
Read moreI came through on Veterans Day and attempted to order about 15 chicken biscuits. The manager yelled from the back of the kitchen to the cashier that "We can't accept that order." The cashier thought she was joking so continued ringing me up. The manager then came up to the front and started yelling. I explained to her that I was a veteran and was picking up this order for a small event I was attending. She said she didn't care, she wouldn't take an order that size unless I physically left and called it in. I did my best to be polite and was not given the same courtesy from the start.
Fast forward to today. I thought I learned from my previous mistake. I ordered ahead this time. I ordered ahead through Uber. Probably around 20-30 minutes ahead. I pull up at 8, the doors are locked and a woman comes to the door and flashes 9 with her fingers. Ok, cool. I go through the drive thru, when I explain that I've made an online order and was here to pick it up, I get the same exact speal as the first time about how I need to call the manager directly when placing large orders. She also told me that they don't check Uber or Doordash orders until the driver checks in.
TLDR: As another reviewer said, "The big back white lady manager" loves to demean and insult customers. Avoid her and this restaurant...
Read moreI am so done ordering from this Wendy's! Just got my food delivered- ordered through the wendys app, so door dash delivered. I only had a $17 order and still tipped the driver over $5. Just for 1 persons meal to not arrive and had an item missing in mine as well. So I didn't get to eat bc I gave what I had to my daughter bc her nuggets were missing. Fries were absolutely terrible! They tasted like they had been sitting there since lunch started so they also got thrown away. I call door dash and they tell me I need to go through wendys bc it wasn't actually through door dash, even though i paid a door dash delivery fee. I'm not even bothering to call wendys bc the last time I called the manager (lady) started accusing me of lying! And was getting so rude & she hung up on me! I wasn't even raising my voice to her! I work in the food industry, I understand mistakes happen. But what about all the times that I DONT CALL when they mess up my order???? Whoever the lady manager is there; does not need to b working in the customer service industry. You don't talk to customers like that!
