New Review:
Sadly, I just raved about how things were so much better and gave them a 5-star review (which is below). However, I've changed my mind. The staff and food isn't any better than before. The staff has no personality and is rude. The food is staged for so long on 2nd shift, that it no longer is hot and fresh. Silly me. I thought things were moving in the right direction.
Original Review:
I never thought I'd EVER give a McDonaldâs a âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ review. However, this new General Manager, who works at this location, has turned this restaurant COMPLETELY around in her FIRST month, right out of TRAINING! Her FIRST month!!! It's absolutely unbelievable! I've actually been driving out of my way to go to this location for the spectacular service and quality products they've been consistently delivering.
I wish I would've caught her name. Regardless, she has an inate ability for hiring AMAZING young people who have outstanding personalities that shine ever so brightly. You can truly feel the peace and love in these young people's hearts. They smile, tell you to enjoy your food, ask if you need anything. It truly is remarkable. Kudos to her for a job well done. And, kudos to the young adults for stepping up and bringing customer service back, which is nearly nonexistent and has been long forgotten in many industries.
Not only that, this GM's time management skills soar, which is proven by her outstanding ability to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, time and time again, with fresh and hot food...every time! The fries and food are the best they've been in years!
I'm so proud of how much she's accomplished in such a short amount of time. Not only is she a shining star for McDonaldâs, but she's a shining star for these young people, teaching them much needed skills that they can take with them for the rest of their lives in whatever career paths they pursue.
She needs to be promoted to train other managers on how to hire the right candidates and how to consistently deliver fresh, hot product.
I mean, this is a McDonaldâs review, and I'm just in awe. What an absolutely fabulous job! If any upper management reads this, I hope you hang on to this gem of a GM and do right by her. Promote her. Recognize her with awards, bonuses, and promotions. She's going to make you a LOT of money, and I'm sure you'll see that by increased revenue, survey scores, and Google reviews!
Thank you so much, new GM! You're doing a spectacular job. Keep it up, and I wish you all the best in whatever amazing things are coming your way. You deserve it. â¤ď¸ ...
Read moreI actually would give them a out of business sign, until they hired new employees! I decided to go in, because the drive thru was literally out to the road, and I didnât want to block traffic. They had one lane blocked off for the drive thru. When I walked in, nobody was at the counter and there were 4 people at the counter. There were 3 employees walking around talking about fighting. I used the kiosk to enter my own order. Someone finally came to take the orders at the register. But the employees were acting absolutely awful! They were dressed sloppy! NOT WEARING GLOVES WHILE PREPARING FOOD! Walking around acting like they were high or something! Honestly I canât even explain! The A man and his son left and looked at me and said, âgood luck.â Another gentlemen came in after me and literally never got spoken to by staff until I told them that he hadnât been taken care of yet, as they were AGAIN off huddled, not working! Meanwhile an absolutely sweet lady and her three children came in at the same time as me, and asked me what was going on because she didnât even feel safe to leave her kids alone at the table (literally steps away) to get their drinks, because of all of the craziness and none of the employees actually seemed to be working. I have pictures! When I went to leave, I told them about not serving that young man. And I was verbally assaulted by at least one of the employees! And 3 others sat back laughing, and making jokes right along with him. He asked me who I thought I was⌠I informed him I am a disabled Army Veteran, and for that reason alone, he should show some respect. But Iâm also a patron and I would be calling corporate. He said, and I quote, âGo ahead, what you think he gone do? He donât care what you say? Nobody here do either? Go on ahead!â So⌠if corporate doesnât do something about this, I will be...
Read moreI should have known when I saw that they have a specific lane painted off in the parking lot for drive-through orders who are told to pull forward and wait...I thought the point of the 2-window drive-through system is to pay at one window and get your food at the 2nd window. Mobile app was not working. Why did she ask if I was using my mobile app?? And, no apology or anything when I mentioned that. The order was entered incorrectly. This is a big reason why I habitually use the mobile app. The way they entered my order made the items more expensive. When I tried to explain this to the manager later, my concern was ignored. I'm not sure if I'll go back and try to get that buck and a half back. I already lost too much of my time there, which I can never get back. The associate at the first window repeated the order back. Yay! One thing right! I explained that it was incorrect and she pleasantly agreed to have it corrected. The associate at the 2nd window literally leaned out the window to see if there was room to tell me to pull forward, before she told me to pull forward. About 18 minutes later, I decided to go inside and check on things. Everything was chaotic. The manager was hollering about how she just sent someone outside with my order, etc, etc. They finally remade it and they "did" get it right. But, wow! I had mentioned the pricing error, but the manager did not take time to address it. And, frankly, I had been there more than 20 minutes longer than I had intended and just wanted to leave.
Thank goodness that location is not close to any of my...
