Service was not the best and the menu was very misleading. Asked for “#19 taro milk tea WITH BOBA $5.45” as written on the menu. I was told I would be charged an EXTRA 50 cents for the boba (bubbles/jelly). It clearly says “WITH BOBA” for $5.45!! Same thing for my friend who ordered a “#1 Sea salt coffee WITH COFFEE JELLY $5.60” she also was told it would be an EXTRA 50 cents for the boba in her drink. No where on the menu does it state boba is extra or even an option to have or not to have. It clearly says “WITH BOBA” (not sure if they realize that anything that has the word “with” stands for “INCLUDED in the price”.
Also, server never checked on us after taking our order. After 45 mins of receiving our food, which was delicious by the way, I had to go to the front to ask for the check. This was a Wednesday around 1:30p, not busy at all, so where were the servers? That’s when I noticed 5 servers standing behind the bar in a circle having a good ol’ time but no one ever checked on us.
Other than that, I ordered the vermicelli with pork and egg rolls. Very good. Giving this a 2 just for the quality of food. Customer service really means a lot to me. I will give this place...
Read moreFantastic first time dining experience on a warm winter Wednesday evening. Chicken pho and complimentary jasmine green tea tasted blissful for me and my spouse recovering from sinus infections. Pho perfect slices of chicken and very hearty flavor. We couldn't even finish the tea pot, despite drinking copiously.
Shrimp banh mi so good I didn't want to share with our teenage girl. She ended up tasting nevertheless and couldn't finish her large chicken vermicelli bowl hence. I ask her to try other dishes next time. This will be added to our list of usual eateries. We kept wondering why it took us so long. Tay Ho is the reason and it's a good thing they're closed on Wednesdays.
Ambience very pleasant. Prompt and attentive service. We were inspired to get a tea pot from the next table. Valentine Day themed decor, lanterns hung up all over, license plates from all over the states. Next they can do is a display of currency bills from all...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for awhile since they’ve had the best boba tea in the area. But lately my boba has been so bad then when I JUST get it the boba is already breaking apart and it has no bite to it. I went inside today and asked if I could get if fixed since I’ve been polite and I’ve been dealing with it 3 times in a row. But when I asked the lady who took it she went right in front of me told the other two sitting there and she says, “she’s giving it back because the boba is to mushy” no you can clearly SEE the boba BREAKING APART and I only took ONE SIP of the Thai tea boba. They where very disrespectful about doing it in front of me. And I wasn’t rude about it either. So it isn’t like I was a Karan either. I’ll go across the street for my boba for a bit and maybe come back. But I’ll let all my friends know and more places to leave a review about this place until they either learn to make boba correctly or will get...
