Whoever initially designed the place did a fantastic job. The cute characters and decorations are incredibly charming. That being said, the food and drinks were both really bad. If you’re into Ni Hao or Ding’s Tea Boba, go there because they are waaaay better. The drinks were poorly made by people yelling at each other, and tasted just as bad. We also tried some of the dumplings and Bao, which tasted as sad as they looked. The bubble waffle skewer was decent though. This place might impress kids and folks who haven’t had good boba with their flashy interior, but be prepared to be disappointed if you actually like good Boba Tea.
Edit : I dropped the rating further because of their incorrect reply. I didn’t finish my drink or food and threw it in the garbage outside of subway. I was also there with my partner and neither of us finished our drinks or food. The only thing I finished was the bacon waffle skewer, which proved to be a mistake I quickly took out on the target bathroom down the street. If you’re going to reply attempting to call someone out, get it right.
These folks are clearly not above lying in their replies to try and save face. That or they simply don’t know who I was in their store. I’ve seen a lot of businesses try to address issues, but this is just embarrassing. Whoever is reviewing these, do better.
Edit 2: Again, they are apparently trying to argue about things with their edits. I don't want to resort to name calling or anything, since this seems to be getting childish, but let's do this then.
I came in with my partner at approximately noon. My partner has bright red and black hair, and mine is blonde and brown. We sat at the front register for a few minutes waiting on the girl at the front to finish helping the two folks in the back, so a clear image should be easily available for your supposed cameras. We ordered two drinks (a boba milk tea and a watermelon fruit green tea), a bacon skewer, one order of dumplings and one order of bao. We sat just to the left of the register at a small table, ate only the skewer, had a small sip of each of our drinks, then took the bao/dumplings (once it was finally done) and left.
Please go ahead and post the footage you supposedly have. Put me on blast! I'd love to see it.
However, I know you won't because this is an outright lie. You'll see the two of us leave with full drinks and the Boa/Dumplings. And if you have a camera outside, you'll see us throw everything in the garbage just outside.
Fight all you want in your edits, but this is absolutely insane to argue with a customer like this.
I never asked for any free food, nor would I accept any. I do find it hilarious that you live in a fantasy world though, where a customer came in, had a delicious meal, then chose to run home and leave a bad review calling our how bad the food was? What makes more sense? That a customer had a bad experience and posted about it, or that someone was so maliciously in need of free slush beverages that they'd go home to try and extort you for a few bucks?
You people are delusional. I wouldn't wish ill on someone for something this petty, but if you do end up running this business into the ground, I hope that you realize it was because of things like...
Read more11.3.24: Brought a coupon that was placed on the home of my door for "Buy 1 get 1 50% off" and despite there not being an expiration date on it the person operating the cash register, after taking it from us, said it was expired and would not allow us to use it. :-/
Since we were already there, and didn't want to argue, we went ahead and got 2 drinks. We enjoyed the drinks and thought the place was cute, but undecided as to whether or not we'll return due to location not following through with what was advertised on the coupon.
Edit:
I appreciate your response, but I know what the coupon says. It absolutely did not say it was exclusively only for Sept 21st/22nd and would not be valid on any other day. It did however mention the grand opening, but that part read like an invitation; obviously this part was mentioned on the coupon so people wouldn't show up before the store opened.
I recommend being more upfront and clear with specials that have specific dates they are...
Read moreI was here the other day and I was super excited to come here since I work at a boba shop also in Tucson so I wanted to branch out and try other ones! When I walked in I was in shock on how cute and fun everything was inside. The menu was something I gravitated towards and was intrigued on everything on there. When I order my drink and asked for no boba, the employee was kinda shocked (not in a rude way at first) but then I said oh yeah haha it makes up for it since I work at a boba shop. She continued to ask me what boba shop do I work at and I told her. She quite literally laughed in my face and apologized by saying she shouldn’t be laughing. It became very awkward after that and I just didn’t know how to carry on the conversation. My drink overall was pretty good but my friend and I felt awkward after having that...
