Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - one of the dishes was great but the other two were meh.… Salted Squid with Hot Jalapeño Pepper (Chef’s Recommendation #12) 5/5 - was battered and fried squid with some bro and peppers. Flavor and texture was great with a hint of sweetness, some saltiness, and ends with a great kick!

Mongolian Beef (Beef Dish #15) 2/5 - is typically a beef dish marinated with soy sauce and brown sugar then fried with some ginger, chili peppers, and green onion. Corn starch may be used to thicken the sauce. We got a dish that was 75% onion and 15% green onion then just little pieces of meat drenched in sugar and sauce. The texture of the meat was oddly soft to where it almost disintegrate as you bite it. For something that was recommended, we couldn‘t finish the dish

Cantonese Lo Mein with Pork 2/5 - the noodles were very short and choppy. Not much flavor to the dish other than saltiness from soy sauce At the bottom of the box. Would not have been able to tell you the protein if we didn’t order it

Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. Restaurant was nicely decorated but a bit dim inside. Many to go orders but no one eating in the store

Service: 5/5 - very friendly and was able to give recommendations. From conversation we heard, it sounds like it’s a family ran business and the cashier has been working there for 8-9 years

Value for price: 2/5 - food was hit or miss but the pricing or what they charged us for wasn’t clear since they don’t provide receipt with item charge. Squid ($14.95) + Beef ($12.95) + Lo Mein ($11.95) = $39.85 + tax (8.7%) = $43.32 but we were charged $44.40. Not a huge difference but there was an extra dollar added...

The to-go menu shows a pepper next to "hot & spicy" items. The menu even says that the little pepper picture in the menu means "hot & spicy". I assumed that any item on the menu without this description would mean that item would not be spicy. Apparently, that is not the case with the Singapore dish as it was quite spicy. I called to explain how the menu was a bit confusing and my delivered Singapore meal was spicy. I was not expecting spicy as there was no pepper next to that menu item. Horrible experience with manager. He said the chili pepper means there is chili in food and Singapore has no chili but it is spicy because it is a curry dish. I said ok, but menu is confusing. I explained that his menu was confusing because the menu explanation for the pepper says "hot & spicy", not "contains chili pepper". He would not listen, kept yelling at me, and tried to make the situation my fault. He said that no one else has ever complained about this in all the years he has been in business except me. So this is my fault?! All I wanted was for him to be willing to look at it from my point of view...a customer's point of view. He chose to blame me instead so I will not longer be taking my family or business employees there. I recommend that you go to some other business that actually makes an effort to understand when a customer has a valid concern or is legitimately confused. -Bill Horton VP Horton...

Used to be a good place, no more! We ordered veggie lo mein with no mushrooms because I'm deathly allergic. They repeated the entire order including this back to us. When we received the order I went to take a bite and it was full of mushrooms; when we called them they were extremely rude and argued with us. They asked what we wyanted and we told them we wanted our money back-- they threw a fit, argued with us and were extremely rude. They said "no, that they would lose money that way," they offered to bring another batch- which I didn't want- they said it would take 5 minutes and 30 minutes later we received it by then our original food and that batch of food were cold. They didn't care that I could have gone into anaphylactic shock, it was an inconvenience for them even though we clearly said no mushrooms and they repeated it back. The first call took forever, they weren't nice and had trouble processing our credit card and address, with us repeating information, but they assured us no mushrooms. They don't care that they could have killed me.

We will NEVER recommend them or eat there again! We will however tell people about our horrific experience. Watch your...

The employees are very nice. They offer quick service, take out is super fast. The food is ok/good. I used to work next door to it and all my girls would order from there. Im not fond of the wontons, to me its just cream cheese spread in them and nothing else, so Id say no on those. I had the egg rolls and they were much better but nothing comes close to pandas chicken egg rolls! My mom had the broccoli beef and that was ok, the Kung Pao chicken was great. Just try them! The price isnt too much for what you get, the 2 of us spent approx. $32.00 - and had left overs fir days (the 2nd fay left overs I can handle, as long as I czn eat em in the cute lil' chinese boxes, but no way 3rd day! ok not sure why I told you all that !) Very nice restaraunt to eat Chinese food. The service is top notch and very friendly. They have military discounts and are children friendly. They won ton and egg drop soups are very tasty. The sweet sauce for the spring rolls I am not a fan of but the rolls are tasty. The beef brocoli was very good. The house lomein was cooked very well. All in all a nice sit down restaraunt with no waiting. Prices were economical.
