What a happy accident for us to land here for a late breakfast this last Saturday. I say accident, because the tip we got from our local food truck guy out in Vail directed us to the place across the street... but here we thought he was talking about Los Nopales. Super friendly service, was not too busy on a Saturday late morning. We were immediately brought water, chips and salsa and the salsa was really robust and tasty. The hubs went for the, Huevos Rancheros and I got the special which were 2 Flat cheese enchilada (homemade red chili) and eggs. HUGE win on the red chili enchiladas, the sauce was so flavorful. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the prices were solid and portions big. The gentleman who served us I believe is the owners brother (or maybe he is part owner as well). He shared they have a smaller restaurant on the southside that has been around for 25 plus years out by Tucson Estates. Even though we live farther east, and this is about a 25-30 minute drive for us we...

This is a great new old restaurant. I understand it used to be on the far west side. My first time but a favorite of my fiancé. He had the chicken fajitas & I had the carne asada tacos. Both dishes were delicious! (I snagged a bite of his) Everything was fresh and the meat was seasoned perfectly. Staff were all very friendly. Probably my only complaint (A - if you could even call it that because B - I think tons of restaurants are also dealing with this) is we weren't checked on very frequently and, at the end of our meal, when we wanted boxes and to pay the check, it took a great deal of time before someone finally came over for that. They just seemed to be short staffed. They just recently reopened so hopefully they're still in the hiring phase. Even with the slow service, we will still go back many times. The food was too phenomenal...

Very nice servers. The food was delicious. I came here around the end of June 2025 for a family get together celebrating my mom's birthday. There were around 13 people in my party including 2 kids and my 5 month old baby and the servers handled everything well. They were very kind and kept checking in with us to make sure we had drinks and made sure everything tasted good. The food was hot and very good and came in a timely manner. We all had a great time. We also brought a couple cakes and they brought a table for us to put them on and gave us plates to serve the cake to everyone. They gave us boxes to take home the left over food and cake. It was all around a great experience. It was my first time at this restaurant and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely recommend...

This was my first time coming to Los Nopales, brought by a friend who found it and loved it. We had shredded beef nachos for appetizer. We got a small and had probably half left over. We stopped so we'd have room for dinner. I ordered chicken enchiladas with calabacitas (squash). The serving is huge. Squash is nicely roasted, topped with cheese. There's a small amount of shredded lettuce on the side also. The enchiladas are good, meat is tender, green sauce was tasty. My buddy ordered the lunch special #9 red enchiladas with beans and rice. He said that his meal was very good. He says he's never had a bad meal. Service was good. Our server quickly brought chips and 2 salsas, and menus, then checked with us several times, then left us alone. Overall, a good place to eat.

My first time trying Los Nopales. The food was actually really good! I had the shredded beef chimichanga enchilada style. It was perfectly flavored and a very generous portion. The beans and rice were good as well. We were served a bowl of chips and two kinds of salsa to begin with. One mild one hot, both were good. My only complaint was the service. The waiter was very nice and friendly, but he was preoccupied by a large party that was there. My drink was empty well before I was done eating but no one stopped to offer a refil until we were done eating and ready to pay. Other than that it was a nice place. I will give it another try soon.

This was our first visit. It was a Friday night, and the place was almost full. When we walked in, there were 2 large tables available and one smaller 4 seat that the previous people just left. The staff saw us looking at that table and cleaned it off as we were walking towards it. Zero waiting. Within 10 minutes, we had menus, (very good) chips and salsa, our drinks, and our food. The staff kept checking on us and were very friendly. Our food was delicious. I had the #16 Enchiladas (3 ways), and my wife had Cheese Enchiladas We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
