Delicious!! Both orders are the same, number 8 combo with shredded beef. Side note though, if you are like me and don’t like your guacamole or sour cream touching, or on the same plate with side salad & rice and beans then make sure while ordering that you ask for both on the side. Rice is AMAZING!! The shredded beef taquitos are SO GOOD and they don’t skimp on the amount put into them!! Multiple places I have been to over the years have always put in such a tiny amount of meat in the rolled tacos, however this place is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!! Their tortillas are HOME MADE & FRESH!! The perfect balance of soft and crispy hard tortillas with these taquitos. Crunchy when you bite in, and then soft and savory melt in your mouth flavor. For other Tucsonans (native or long timers) you have probably been to many Tex-Mex and/or authentic Mexican restaurants in the greater Tucson area. If you are lucky enough to have made the travel to Green Valley/Sahuarita then you have been able to one of the restaurants down there as well. I and my family have tried at least 7 or 8 restaurants all over town, however this place is UNLIKE any of the places we have been to before!! This restaurant is DELICIOUS!! The background music is also not super loud to where you can’t hear the person at your table 😂 The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and very polite people. They have a bar at the front of the restaurant, and I asked our waiter (Abraham) if they had a bartender, and it turns out that ALL of the employees here are trained to do that!! That’s pretty cool and is great if you are looking for that!! The dining area is completely separate and to the left, and so it is absolutely family friendly!! If you are looking for a great new place to dine for the best Mexican & Seafood on the Eastside, then THIS is the place for you!! A huge selling point as well is that this place doesn’t seem to be doing the ‘shrinkflation’ that seems to be happening EVERYWHERE!!
You will not regret coming here!! Btw, ask for...
Read moreNot good at all. Not only pricy but the food is also bland and overly simply made. You would expect 14 dollar for 2 Enchilada would be somewhat decent. The sauce doesn't have any spice. No cheese on top. Came with green sauce and I wasn't asked what kind of sauce I want. The plate had no veggie at all. Imagine that's almost the cheapest dish. With one drink and two cheap plates, we left with over $40 dollar bill. I can't imagine having a 'seafood cocktail' which easily cost over $20. The menu is also confusing. If this is to serve Hispanic speaking people I feel sorry for them. Another odd thing is when the bill came, the waitress came with a handheld device and basically watch you give tip on it when you may not even be ready to figure out the tip. It's really uncomfortable to be watched as you try to give tip on that device. After all, if you want a receipt, they still have to go back to the counter to print it. What's the point but to force tips? No wonder I see so many actual Mexicans go to Asian buffet for seafood although I'm not sure if any good seafood Asian buffet exists in Tucson. But you would get so much more and better seafood than this type of Mexican seafood restaurants. Also watch out that this restaurant is in the chain that uses different names at each location. If you don't see their menu which is the same as the other locations in Tucson, you can hardly tell it's in that chain. I...
Read moreOur second time here. I had the fish tacos. Understand that I am not a seafood eater I don't like fish and I'm allergic to shellfish but I had tried some fish tacos in San Diego and they were delicious as I decided to try them here. These fish tacos we're on point and absolutely delicious. They looked kind of small but were very filling and I definitely could not have eaten another one. The service was excellent, the food came less than 10 minutes after we ordered it and the staff is very friendly. I do have a concern that I thought I would post here because someone I know said that they ordered Iced Teas and were charged for refills. I am hoping that someone with the restaurant can address this as it's customary in nearly every restaurant that you get free refills with ice tea so I am hoping that this was a mistake and that I can tell them to go back and get a refund or maybe some free drinks. If this was not a mistake then I am hopeful that it is clearly printed on the menu and that you are telling people that there is a charge for iced tea refills since this is...
