I had heard about Peter through others and reached out to him because both my son and I want to purchase our first hand guns and I knew we needed to learn about gun safety. Just as others described, Peter was the best person to contact for a course & shooting lessons. Peter does it all! He had a very welcoming & calm environment to take the course, he was super thorough with explaining the basics but also really driving home how important gun safety truly is. Peter encouraged questions & triple checked that I understood the course work. We did some simulation steps with me holding a gun replica then onto the real gun.

We hit the shooting range, which if you are new to the shooting environment, I highly suggest the outdoor range down at the end of Houghton near the Fairgrounds where there was a nice shooting range! Peter was very alert with the surroundings as you have live shooting going on while he is explaining things. Peter guided me through each and every step of what I was about to do. Our teenage children took a gun safety course through Pima county. Pete was one of the instructors leading the course. Our children have grown up around firearms and have been taught to use them properly. My husband is an avid hunter and spent 33 years with the military. I was unable to attend the course due to work. Yet, my children and husband attended. I was amazed at what my children had to say after the course. They came home very excited to show me the new ways they learned to store, hold, load, aim and shoot a gun safely. They were also excited to share their better understanding of ammunition and it's safe handling. They really felt comfortable with Pete and his way of training to the point to where we decided to have them take more classes with Pete.
