When this location opened we were so ecstatic to finally have a Chipotle on our side of town. The location was busy, service was good and quality of food lived up to the standards we have grown to expect. We visited this location at least once a week, most oftentimes two times per week. Now, the restaurant is always empty, the service is horrific and the food is subpar at best.
On this specific visit, we (my daughter) and I entered and there was no line and a few people already eating. I ordered three salads to go. Each salad bowl was less than 1/4 full of lettuce and I asked for more lettuce and got "a look." The young man staff asked me about beans and I rice on the salads and I explained to him that I would build the first two and my daughter the third. The young woman second in line grabbed the salads (without anything but lettuce at this point) and asked me what proteins we wanted on all three. I was like wait, I didn't even answer the first question yet. So I ordered the beans and rice for the two salads I was building and then ordered the proteins. I reminded them could we please get the dressings for the salads (we were never asked if we wanted them or not). The young man said yes and started to build my daughter's salad. The young woman was literally just throwing the items in the bowl, no quality control nor care. The sour cream was globbed all in one corner, there was a smattering of cheese and the jalapeno corn salsa I requested was about a teaspoon. At this point, I was already exhausted of yet another subpar experience at this location (as I noted earlier everything has been declining here as of late). My daughter finished her salad order and I asked the young woman on the line to mark the bowls with our initials (since they were all salads and hard to differentiate. She replied to me "we have to mark them what they are chicken salads" in the meantime the cashier was standing right there and was already ringing up the order so there was no real need to mark them as a salad for the cashier since the transaction was already being processed. I asked the cashier if she could add a large bag of chips to the order along with a pico salsa and side of sour cream. I then reminded them that we were still missing the dressings. The 2nd young woman started to bag up our items while I paid and again there were no dressings. Finally, the cashier walked over to the side station there where to go orders are processed and grabbed us dressings.
When we got home to eat, as I noted the salads were poorly constructed and not of good quality. In fact, my salad had a little bit of an odd taste to it and within 30 minutes of eating I did not feel well at all. I hadn't eaten since that morning so I am sure there was something off in the salad.
I am extremely disappointed in this location, to the point where given the competition of other restaurants in the area we will most likely choose another dining option. I don't feel that we are alone in this opinion since the location seems to be declining in quantity of customers and I have seen similar online reviews notating the same issues we had on this and...
Read moreI used to like this location especially because it is close to my house. I’m glad they have a new one on kino because I learned tonight that this location isn’t the same. First Lady at the food prep line was no welcoming at all. You can tell when someone doesn’t want to be at work.. she gave me like a pinch of steak lol I asked for more and she replied with “you want to have double meat? It’s extra.” 🙄 so I just said “nevermind” and then there was a tiny bit of bell peppers left so I asked if there was more since I was getting two bowls and she said “no” then I said “I’ll get what’s left in my salad bowl.” She then grabbed a already prepared things of bell peppers and threw it into the old one. This whole time it was behind her.. I could tell she was annoyed. I wanted to ask for a side of rice and beans for my baby but I didn’t feel comfortable asking her due to the attitude she already had. So, the next person took over by the condiments and I ordered two kids meals with the bowls. I asked for the sides for the kids meals and she told me “three extra sides for the kids meals and anything extra will be a dollar.” I asked “three extra sides per kids meal?” And she said “no, three sides for both kids meals.” 🤔🤔 so 1 1/2 sides for each kids meal ? 😂😂 yeah makes sense.. I’m done with this location.. service was lousy, seems like anything extra is too much work for them.. even picking up a bowl of already Prepared bell peppers was too much so yeah this place should have...
Read moreBased on my visit, this is not an establishment that l can honestly recommend ever visiting. Overflowing trash cans, table and chairs left dirty. Spilled food in the dining room, apparently just left to rot on the floor. The rug in front of the salsa bar has visible encrusted food embedded in it, it looked like it was several days old. The one in front of the soda bar was equally bad, in need of past due attention. All the result of staff indifference. Really unimpressive effort by the staff to create an inviting atmosphere. No pride shown at all. Portion control seems to be noticably over zealous at this location. The daily special is order an adult meal and get a kid meal for the same price. Through abundant staff failures, the food presented isn't the same as you thought you ordered. The overpriced and underperforming theme seems to be the hallmark of subpar effort at this establishment. While the food appeared nice, the illusion soon gave way to skimpy servings of noticeably low quality ingredients. You're not really that hungry, just avoid the disappointment and go elsewhere.
REMEMBER: FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS EAT AT THIS CHIPOTLE.
