My first experience with Culver went like this. I went to Culver on 04/30/2017 for some ice cream shakes and malts at 9:50ish pm. My cashier for the evening drive thru is Natalie, and so far she has been rude and stubborn when I corrected her. I ordered an Oreo/Caramel shake and a mint Oreo/brownie shake. I was surprised I only got spoons and not a straw. Also my shakes was already partially melted, and the cup was not full. I was appalled by this, but refrained from saying something, and I gave her a salutation. Also she did not give me my receipt the first time around When my girlfriend and I left Culver's. Not even two minutes later she tried the brownie and notice how stale it was. I rushed back to Culver's and demanded a receipt. One of the employees gave me a receipt kindly. After that I asked them to return my drinks since it was bad quality. The employee Natalie was giving me snide and rude remarks because supposedly my drink can not be return because it was already melted and looks like it was half full when it was not even filled up all the way when I purchased the shakes. She even have the audacity to said she ate some brownies a few min ago and said it was still good quality. After my girlfriend told her that the transaction was recorded thru the company security cam. All of a sudden she gave me my full refund, but Miss I can't count using basic math didn't give me my money back correctly. After I gave her some basic math training because the company can't afford it. I finally got all of my money back. I am never going back here again. Because I never heard of partial refund before from a fast food or any industry. Culver's make my day with that dumb remark. They should properly train there employees on how to count, and if they need more special training they should use there fingers to add or subtract numbers. This is a true story, and I'm never coming back here again thanks to bad costumer service rep...
Read moreSince my wife and I tasted Culver's when we went to IL/WI in May this year, we became serious fans on their burgers - we live in CT so only pizzas are the only good stuff. Everytime I am on a business trip to a state where Culver's exists, I stop by and get like 4 to 6 burgers to bring home - and yet they are still tasty and good. I just want my wife to have it too.
This time, I stayed in Nogales for a couple of days and I accidently saw Culver's while driving on I-19. That's when I realized that God blessed AZ has Culver's restaurants here and there.
I stopped at this right before I drove back to the airport, and Kari (I believe, I got the "tellus" card with her name but I coudldn't find the survey code on my receipt) was friendly and amazing to make my orders perfect. Got 6 cheese burgers, and didn't think through that bacons on each burger would cost more than I expected so had to take them off. Then my concrete mixer had cheesecake crumbs but then it turned out there were in somewhere else which was not ready. She could've told me that the toppings are not ready, but instead she made it work - it took a little time but I'd rather wait to taste it than just rush out which Lord knows when I would come back to wherever Culver's is. Oh and I felt sad that I ordered the mini size - should've stuck with the small one like I always did. I really wished that I could do the survey, but my receipt doesn't have the code to let me do it - I typed every single thing to see if any works. So, here I am - thank you for the fineset service, I really hope to be sent to Nogales again so I can visit here as well.
I've been to different Culver's - near Oak Creek & Middleton (WI), Chicagoland (IL), North Olmsted (OH), Monroe (MI) and here but this was the only place where all staff greeted me not only Kari when I was leaving - it made me...
Read moreI usually give Culvers 5 stars no matter where I'm at in the country, but I'm disappointed by this one. Arrived 4pm Saturday eve, 3/4, and the girl with glasses at front register gave poor service. She was just nice enough to get away with good customer service by most, but at most Culvers I go to, employees are coached to be VERY outgoing and friendly. She just acted like it was a job, and she didn't care much to be there. When she brought put my food, not only were several of the fries overcooked, which essentially made it a small order when I paid for a medium order because I don't like crunchy overcooked fries and won't eat them, but the burger also had onion on it, clearly visible without having to touch it, when I had requested no onion on the burger. I had to send it back and waited 5 minutes for a replacement which she sent someone else to bring to me.
The last thing that made this store of much lower quality than others was the fact that never once during the 30 minutes I was there did I see any employee clean off tables. It wasn't busy, so they had plenty of opportunity. Usually, at 5 star locations, I see an employee come out to clean tables at least twice while I'm sitting and eating.
Additionally, the outside of the building needs a major paint job because it looks rather dilapidated and the blue paint everywhere is fading and chipping away. I'll try another Culvers while I'm in town and won't be coming back...
