We our returning Cupbop customers and have raved about the food, customer service and friendliness and professionalism of staff. Last night at the Cupbop at Irvington it was a horrible experience. The man who has a black beard , bilateral ear guages and identified himself as the manager was the one who was placing the food contents in the bowl. He did not greet customers nor pay attention to the orders as my daughter-in law ordered the crunch bowl and did not get any protein. My spouse ordered the combo paid for an extra side of meat and only got one protein not two. The food tasted as if it had been sitting for a long time. The ice machine had no ice and the drinks where warm. The establishment was sold out of potstickers and the gentleman starting your order did not review with you what they where sold out of. The employees (especially) the man who identified himself as the manager did seem to care about the quality of food or ensuring the customers actually got what they ordered. When we asked for the GM number to notify the GM of our experience at this location and how it was extremely different than the Swan/Grant location the man with black hair, beard and ear gauges in both ears refused saying ‘he could not give that information out. ‘ At the end of our visit I went up the man who identified as the manager he refused to give me his name then responded to me how rude I was for the poor experience that we received at this restaurant and not to return. At no time did he acknowledge the mistakes that had been made or seem to care. If this had been our first experience at Cupbop we would never returned to this establishment. If you are considering going to Cupbop think careful which location to go to as the service, professionalism of staff and quality of food is greatly different between the Irvington and I-19 store and the Grant and Swan location. Not to mention we spent well over $71 dollars and when my husband asked for the Cupbop hat he was told they where sold out without any solution how to get...
Read moreI love cupbop food their flavors and quality have always been great. Unfortunately the last 2 experiences were unpleasant at the (Landing Way location in Tucson, AZ). The first time the girl who served our food put way too much of some teriyaki tasting sauce which is something new to me, I figured maybe I ordered wrong so I didn't say anything but it was too much (like soup) and I could not finish my food.During this same visit my husband ordered his bowl and extra protein which was a small cup filled up with extra chicken. We ordered again a few days ago at the same location and my husband once again ordered extra protein. We were charged the same amount as last time except this time they gave him tiny pieces of chicken (smaller than McDs chicken nuggets). I called to ask about this and the girl on the phone said the manager had changed the portions so I asked why the price was still the same. She said "I know it's upsetting" and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked if the manager could do something about it since they were the one who decided to cut down the portion but she said no and that it was a corporate decision. I am very disappointed we spent $35+ on this order to get less food than usual and basically be told we have to put up with it. We will never go to this location and possibly Cupbop in general since it is very pricey, customer service and food quality and quantity have gone down the drain. Do...
Read moreWe decided to try this new place in town. As we walked in we were greeted and asked if it was or first time as it was. The girl yelled first timers and proceeded to say something about potstickers but we had issues hearing and understanding her..I suck at hearing maybe.. Im not sure if we were supposed to get free potstickers or something but nothing happened for being a first timer. We got the combo and the veggie.. the food is good and very flavorful. How ever we were pretty disappointed with veggies on the veggie bop. The vegetables looked just like the round same cut frozen California vegetables (broc, carrots, cauliflower) you get from the stores. So we both bite into the vegetables and they sure felt the same ..soft and mushie just as you would microwave them at home. I'd expect a higher standard and quality from restaurants and not use frozen items especially when it comes to vegetables and being brand new! ... if so make the veggie cheaper if you are going to use cheaper quality for your customers. I wouldn't call this Korean bbq... far from it. I don't think anything including the beef is even grilled. Customer service definitely could have been better with a smile. The 3 up front didn't look like they wanted...
