El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Tucson

I want to start by saying that I really love the food at Pollo Loco, it’s always flavorful and fresh. But this location has a serious problem with fulfilling orders correctly. If you order here, double-check everything before you drive off, because chances are something will be missing.

I don’t want to call the staff lazy or careless, but honestly, why am I missing food almost every single time I order or dine in? And when you point it out, the attitude makes you feel like you’re the inconvenience. With how expensive food is these days, of course I’m going to speak up when I don’t get what I paid for.

Today was the final straw. I sent my mother to pick up our mobile order, and sure enough, we were missing all the churros, half of the tortillas, no gravy for the mashed potatoes, and we were short on the legs and thighs. That’s a big part of the meal, just gone.

Pollo Loco deserves better management at this location because the food is great, but the service here is consistently frustrating

Wish i would have read the previous review, I just went to drive thru....girl asked me if i wanted a combo I said yes....I even said what kind of drink. I get to the window and she doesnt give me drink...she says rudely she didnt hear me ask for combo and she didnt charge me for it. So i expect her to ask if i would like to still purchase but she doesnt and proceed to move from window. Oh and she also had ask what kind of tortillas I wanted for my meal....AND THEY DIDNT INCLUDE THEM. It is very upsetting to get where you are going to eat your meal and things are missing....I am sure she would be upset if she gets home and her meal is not complete when she orders to a drive thru....I had never had complains from this place but they do need to train costomer service....and its not like they were busy...there was like 4 girls standing...

I hate to give bad reviews, but tonight’s experience was intolerable! We stopped in at this particular store at exactly 8:40 pm hoping to eat. We had a group of ladies with us who had just got out of a church function and were very hungry. Supposedly, the girl who finally came to talk to us (nobody seemed to want to help us; and a man was already washing the grills - no chicken on the grills at all!) said the dining room closes at 9:30, but they all looked like they were hoping not to have any more customers. The worst part is that we got IGNORED! We just wanted to know if they were going to be able to serve our group or not, but the manager and other employees completely… what’s the word? “Ghosted us”! Terrible, terrible service!!! Be warned! It seems young people don’t want to...
