Went to Red Robin for the first time in years, and I won't go back. At least not to this one. We were sat and the table was sticky. When ordering, I asked our server what was "everything" about the everything Caesar dressing (basically wanted to know how it differs from regular caesar) and I don't know if he just didn't know, but I was unsure about what to make of his answer, so I ordered the other wrap. I also ordered a milkshake and was asked if I wanted it right away or after. I maybe didn't quite understand what he was asking, and said "it's okay if it comes out with the food" and was then told that the bartender would get to it when they could, which seemed confusing to me when asked when I wanted it. My friend ordered a burger and a soda and we got onion rings to share. Drinks came fine, but milkshake arrived to the table a mess. The glass was covered in milkshake and whipped cream. It took multiple napkins to make it so I could actually touch the glass. I have never in my life been served a milkshake where my hand came away from touching the glass covered in the contents. Our food came and my wrap came with tomatoes in it when there weren't supposed to be (I did check the online menu to make sure I hadn't just missed them, and neither the description nor the image have tomatoes). I pointed that out and the server took my plate back. I encouraged my friend to eat while I waited for them to remake my food. She had a jalapeño that wasn't supposed to be in her mushroom burger, but it was only one, so likely only a cross contamination issue in the kitchen. My food did come eventually and was correct the second time. Our drinks were never refilled. After my friend's plate was cleared, I did specifically ask if I could have more water and our server said yes that they had to find the pitcher and then just didn't come back for 5 minutes and then didn't have the pitcher and instead asked us if everything was good. I asked for water and a soda to go and we asked for the check. At the beginning of our meal, I noted that we didn't have the table-side ordering tablet on our table and I wasn't sure how to use my rewards number without it, and we were told that he could take the the number and put it in in the back or borrow a machine from another table. We ended up with just a paper check, but I mistakenly thought something was on happy hour that wasn't and that led to a small miscommunication where he grabbed one of the machines and transferred our ticket onto it. It wouldn't log in; tech failure wasn’t his fault at all, but at that point, we had been there for almost an hour and a half, and I was done, so I handed him the paper copy and my card. Seemed like an off-night between poor service and two menu items without any modifications coming out with extra, unwanted things. Red Robin at this point is too expensive to be like this. An $8.50 milkshake should not have come to the table that messy. I shouldn't have to clean the glass before I can touch it. I understand if a little bit drips down the glass in transit, but this was so bad it left a ring on the table. It was sloppy, and ultimately the whole experience...

On the night of 25 September at the Irvington location in Tucson, my family went for dinner. Got there about 530pm. Was promptly seated. Our server was Elizabeth
Sat and got our drinks. Ordered our dinner. 3 burgers and a kids meal. When the food came all was good, up until I saw my burger. I asked for a Pig Out Burger. (2 patties, cheese, bacon.) What I texture received was the equivalent to a sad bacon cheese burger with 1 patty, minimal cheese and bacon in a small basket with about 8 fries.
Asked Elizabeth immediately after if the order was correct, a Pig Out Burger, not the kids portion? It's missing a burger patty and can I get a plate to put this on? Sure thing, she says. The rest of my family is eating away and so I start to consume what I have.
About 10 minutes later Elizabeth returns with drink refills. I ask about the rest of my meal. "Oh I didn't think you wanted it because you started eating your burger," she says. Hmmm, I don't recall asking to cancel the order that was incorrectly made in the first place. The rest of my family is finishing their meals at this point. Elizabeth says she would inform the manager.
The manager comes to our table to apologize for the confusion and provides us with another Pig Out burger to take home and enjoy later. And included a complimentary starter dish or dessert for the next visit. Which would have been fine, but it wasn't.
The following day, for lunch I was looking forward to eating a second burger that will later be directly contributed to a heart attack. I put it in the microwave, I ate it, but I DID NOT enjoy it. Mainly because I was given the exact same concotion from the night before. Single patty, single slice of cheese, 2 measly strips of bacon...
From my understanding the Pig Out Tavern Double is 2 patties, 2 slices of cheese, bacon strips, bacon crumbles, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I don't know where the breakdown in communication happened. I would have to guess the order sheet in the kitchen, the cook. Whoever didn't get the update about what the term PIG OUT Burger is. It's not supposed to be dainty or health conscious. It's supposed to tasty, greasy, the main features that are going to clog your arteries!
In the future, I will not volunteer this location or any Red Robin for a meal. If I do happen to get invited to join, I may go, but will have better sense to clarify before the server walks away.
Didn't get what I ordered, didn't even get it on a plate, didn't get the correct burger...
Read moreSo I came back here again....., I would like to say that our Server Kyle was awesome and always checking on us. However that is the only thing that went right. It was busy and food took a very long time to come out. When food came out one plate was cold Fries/Burger and the other one was nice and hot. The Hot plate came complete with a HAIR IN IT! Which went into my mouth before realizing as I was chewing my food. I don't usually get more bottomless fries but Kyle asked and I figured they owed me at least that much for the hair in my food. Those fries too took a long time to come out which I almost canceled as we were ready to leave. The seating is awful too, as I usually get some BIG person sitting behind me and the back cushion pushes into my side of the booth, why that is even possible is beyond me. Must be poor booth craftsmanship. The food is good when they do things right however they usually fail more than they succeed at providing quality Dining. -Old review follows -So I ordered online for the first time. A to go pick up that wasn't so great. I arrived early and called to let them know I was there. They made it sound like my order was ready and it would be right out. No food came, I waited 2 minutes past there estimated time. Some clueless gal came out, Just to go back inside and grab our food to bring it out. The ordered was modified and they made it perfectly to order. Other than extra saucy! If you going to make it that messy, Give us more than just 2 napkins! Oh for the Bottomless steak fries don't be so chintzy! It's not like I'm coming back for more so please give a good portion! I guess my fault was tipping on the bill before receiving said order, If they know what they are going to be tipped and don't agree with it you will wait for your food to be cold like mine was 20 minutes later...Or that this Whole establishment is ran by Hispanics and don't care or cater to white people! I am unsure if I will...
