My boyfriend always gets an eegee whenever he visits Tucson, and as a Canadian, I never had any idea what the heck he was talking about. I finally understood when I got the chance to try it myself this past Christmas. It's like a smoothie/frozen fruit drink that you need a spoon to eat with for the first few hours, then swap to a straw as it melts. I like how it's not quite like a snow cone/shaved ice because the flavour is consistent throughout the treat. I enjoyed my Holly Berry flavour but I think I liked my boyfriend's strawberry one more because there were small chunks of strawberry in his. I went back the following week to try the pina colada flavour but I wasn't as fond of it because I wasn't expecting bits of coconut in it, although I liked the pineapple bits. The price was ridiculously good considering the massive cups they're served in. Their ranch for the fries were surprisingly good too! Apparently it's a house-made dressing.

I am a Tucsonian who moved to but I remember birthday parties with giant grinders cut into smaller portions and a cooler full of Eegees. My kids heard me describe this and said they want their birthday parties like this as well. It's been a few years since I have been to an Eegees. I was sad to hear they have filed for bankruptcy and hope they can continue to operate. I had a toasted deluxe grinder and i found it had the same taste as it always has had for decades. The bread is different now, less airy and more squishable than the ones from years ago but I still enjoyed it. The Eegees was exactly the same and my kids devoured the Hollyberry. They also loved the chicken tenders and ranch fries stating it was amongst the best they had had. Service was fantastic, very friendly and inviting. There was a stream of people getting take out and delivery so although the eat in may be less busy it was good to see people ordering out.

So I hate being this guy and having to complain about what happened tonight at this location. First off the gentleman who took our order was pretty friendly at first and upselled me offered the combo and everything he was suppose to do. Mind you I worked at Eegees for almost 2 years so I know what's expected and he did great, but once we mentioned we have a 2nd order the attitude from the gentleman, which was later identified as Seth, completely went negative I noticed a change in customer service getting really edgy and I just blew it off knowing fast food is stressful I get it yet no need to act that way when I was the only car in drive and their lobby was closed (beside the point just helping my argument) then we pull up to the window one of my passagers had a cigarette he said would you mind not smoking here? honest mistake yes I'll put it out we said then I told him I no longer wanted something I asked for (ranch fry) then the roll of the eyes came and then I apologized for being such a burden he slams the window in my face with no response? How rude I'm the customer here aren't I? He opens the door and says here's your change very angerly then we ask for some jalepenoes for the side and again no response slams window again. I'm completely aware of drive times so I know you can be put under pressure at times I wouldn't have minded parking and waiting for my food to help him out especially for having two separate orders once our food was complete he opened the window very fast pushing the bag out the window with his hand smacking the bag against the window my chili cheese fries were both popped open and chili all over the bag. There were no spoons/forks or napkins in my bag I ordered two medium Eegees as well he had slammed the window and not given me the Eegees at the end of our order no goodbye come again NOTHING so we honked the horn because I wanted to ask him for the drinks we paid for then Seth rolls his eyes again after grabbing our drinks, shoving them out the window obviously disturbed by our request. I look at his name tag with him being aware of what i was doing he looks very angry and opens the window about to say something smart or nasty who knows....Then the manager grabbed his arm and almost looks as if she says stop this whole time the manager was standing next to him witnessing him treat customers like this I wasn't trying to get a reaction from him I've just never been so disrespected and with me being a manager in the past for your company I would've never allowed him to complete the order while having...

Living up the street I have been coming here for years. The last few times things have not been great. The first they forgot to make adjustments to the sandwich ( leave off olives), then they forgot the French fry's, then a couple days ago I never got my food. When I got there it was around 2pm the lunch rush was over and I went inside to pick up some sandwiches for lunch and then dinner for the night. When I went inside I was the only customer in the store, there was one car in the drive, the right after I ordered one person came in behind me. The person behind me got his food pretty quick, but I know FFrys can take a bit longer. For the next 20 minutes no one else came into the store, the drive through was steady, French frys were being dropped in bags and rushed over to the drive through window. Being the only one in the store I made eye contact with everyone working that day in the front. The manager saw me, the lady who took my order, the lady who was working the drive though window made eye contact with me. After 15 minutes I even stood up and was standing no more the 15 feet from the counter. no one said or asked anything. I stood there for 10 minutes watching order after order get rushed to the window. I felt like an idiot making eye contact with employees over and over again with no response, not one inquired with me or other employees about the strange guy in the lobby standing there. After 29 minutes I left, I did not say anything. I went to Nico's Tacos on Broadway next to park mall, and I ordered lunch, and had it in hand in less then 5 minutes. While I was hoping for a cold sandwich over a taco's and burritos I at least got the food. I did call Egees and ask them to reimburse the order back to my credit card, whom ever I talked to said he would. He then had the nerve to tell me that I should have said something. Since I was the only one in the restaurant I don't feel like I should have had to go up to the counter and ask where the food was, I think one of the 10 times I made eye contact with an employee should have...

This place is horrible and unprofessional they messed up my order two weeks ago when I was on the side of town and I was getting a meal for me and my daughter had a grinder and a ranch fry for both of us and when I had open the bag after I left the drive-through the sandwiches and the ranch fries, the sandwiches, first of all were dismantled, like the bread was all alternative apart, almost like they just kind of threw it together in the middle of a rush and the ranch fries were cold cold and hard I called back immediately I said hey man I’m already pretty far away. Is there anyway you can refund my card and I’ll save the food for tomorrow morning when I’m on that side of town his response was they were gonna put me in this thing called the black book to remake my order. The next time I was on this side of town OK all right I like EG‘s most of the time. This usually doesn’t happen. Sure, why Not , I’m on the side of town again tonight and I call them to ask and ensure that my name was put in the black book so I’m not sitting there explaining everything when I’m in the store and the gentleman has no idea what I’m talking about there’s not any name in the book so if you guys are comfortable paying for your food to be all messed up and then them saying they’ll fix it just a lie please go here if not, go literally...
