Firehouse Subs Old Spanish Trail Rd — Restaurant in Tucson

Most poorly run Firehouse in Tucson. Tonight there was a 45 minute wait for dinner because they were prioritizing app orders over the walk in customers. I bought a drink but the firehouse cherry lime aid was unavailable so was Coca Cola products because they ran out of all syrups in the machine. Why buy a soda expecting all options available only to find out Mello Yello was left in the fountain. We asked them to change it out the male cashier said he didn’t know how. So he informed the female sandwich maker and she told him to switch with her. They got over packed and they ignored us the entire time! Our food got cold and the staff is incompetent. We waited 20 mins for them to reload the soda machine and they didn’t so I got what I didnt want and left. I would like to say this was the only time there was a issue at this firehouse but the last time we went we placed our order and instead of giving me a combo like I asked we were charged individually for soup, drink and sandwich I noticed after we paid instead of refunding us the cashier gave us chips to compensate. First time eating here got two sandwiches & two bags of chips wait from the order took several minutes & barely anyone in there young guy who took my order seemed new & not with it I asked him if he could put the two bags of chips in a bag instead of handing me them since I was taking my order to go then he puts them in a small bag I thought he’d put them in the same bag with the sandwiches since that was a bigger bag wondering if the young kid was smoking weed or something lol anyway I get home & my tuna sandwich was toasted which I didn’t want it to be also watered down with sweet dressing I said mayonnaise on it but it tasted like salad dressing & there was so much on it that it was leaking all over the sandwich & in the container very watery & gross tasting the other sandwich was the meatball one & there was so much sauce on it that the bread became soggy both sandwiches were soggy even the bread & for how expensive this place is compared to Subway I’d say Subway is 10 times better no question about it but this place is so overrated & not worth it won’t go back...

Wait times are excessive! I’m so sorry but I have to give a two here. My husband and I placed an online order for pickup for 7:25pm. When my husband got there at 7:20 ish, his sandwich was done but he had to wait for the other three sandwiches we ordered. And ohhhhh we waited!

The store was packed, it’s possible the cashier was a new hire but they didn’t really seem to know how to juggle everything they needed to. The other staff member had no interest in assisting the cashier and basically left them to drown.

Orders for customers consistently having to be sent back for remake, and all customers having to wait a ridiculously long time for food.

Apparently our food was done at around 7:45, but wasn’t given to my husband until 8pm because one employee didn’t/wouldn’t communicate to the other. All of our food, especially the first sandwich made, was super cold and needed to be microwaved before we ate it.

I really wish I could give a better rating but definitely not going back...
