Five stars for excellent customer service today! It took the clerk a while to acknowledge us buuut it was because she was making waffle cones!! Which was pretty cool to watch and it filled the place with a sweet and delicious aroma!! I asked if they had dairy, soy and gluten free alternatives and she knew what they were right away. Lemon or raspberry sorbet. Sadly the only safe mix in was gummy bears but for my 8 year old he was absolutely thrilled! Hopefully in the future they will carry a couple of dairy free ice creams (chocolate hint hint) besides the sorbet! We stopped in today after the kid's first day of school to cool off and talk about how it went. The store was very clean. The clerk was very nice and helpful. It's been far too long since we visited Cold Stone. Even though we moved and this store is father than another, it's such a pleasure that we continue to patronize it. The service is always prompt, helpful, patient, and they're expert ice cream mixologists. The restroom is always clean as are the tables both indoors and out. Speaking of the outdoors, that's what makes this store so special. It has a large patio with lots of tables and, while there is traffic passing beyond the parking lot, the patio feels cozy and secluded. Your gaze is automatically drawn to the Catalinas. We've eaten outdoors year 'round at this location. It's shaded from the sun and usually receives a pleasant breeze. Google maps shows them closing at 11:00 p.m. . Their listing has been updated to reflect that they do not offer dine in right now, so I know they have edited it recently. Showed up at 10:03 while they were ringing up another customer, and was told that they were closed and they could not make anything. I was told that if I showed up at 10:01 it would have been okay, but since it was then 10:04, that her boss would "put me in trouble." If we had been standing in line, would you have thrown us out? You had no issues ringing up the people who were just finishing up as I entered.
