This is the first review I will write as I experience. I've been coming here sporadically since they opened. The Pho has always been great. This is my first time back in years. I brought my family for the first time dining as a large party. The menu prices are much higher than I remember but I'm still looking forward to our meal. The person serving is mildly dismissive. The water does not taste filtered and the sodas are $2.50 a can. The atmosphere is still cozy. We ordered chicken fried rice, teriyaki beef, combination pho, Ramen and a few rolls. We're mostly done with our meal and I must say, I was not disappointed. Still a little pricey but the flavors are on point. The dishes were a little smaller than I'd expected, but again, the flavors!! We ended up ordering more rolls. If they can fix the soft drink / fresh drinking water situations and train the FOH staff on being a little more personable, this can be an amazing hidden gem on Tucson's east side.

Nice quiet and clean restaurant. The customer service was excellent! The food was phenomenal (so good that I got three quarters of the way through each of the servings before realizing I forgot to take pictures, that's why they're not fill serving pictures 😂). The cucumber salads I've had in the past have chunks of cucumber which make it kind of hard to eat, especially with chopsticks. However, here they shred the cucumbers into strips which make it easier to eat like noodles. And it has a great nutty flavor! Not too sour! The Las Vegas roll was warm and crunchy, not soggy like some other places. The Combo Poke Bowl had a great clean flavor to it. Not too sweet! Overall I would recommend this to anyone who likes Japanese or Vietnamese food!!! (And I would DEFINITELY come back!!!!!!)

*** Update *** The manager did offer to remake or refund a portion of my order which I was fine with since it was only one item I had a problem with. He apologized for the inconvenience and made compensated me. It wouldn’t hurt to give them another shot in the future. My stir fry was fry enough to choke on. There wasn’t any sauce. Called to let the restaurant know to possibly refund or remake and they told me it was yellow so there is sauce. Tried to explain that it was extremely dry and hard to the stuck together noodles. Then I tried to add liquid from they pho to give it moisture just to find out the chicken is raw! They totally disregarded me and never made it right. Didn’t follow up with me. $40 dollar meal down the drain.

Extremely beautiful restaurant also very clean, my first time ever trying Pho, and the lady there, was so nice she helped me make my decision and explained all the different types and broths and just really helped me decide on the best Pho for my first time, I chose the combo # 7 it comes with Pho, California roll, and a drink. Let’s just say I will for sure be returning. Everything was delicious, the Pho was marinated in a beef broth and this red sauce that comes with all the fixings, just adds an extra burst to this already mouth-watering flavorful goodness. I had to stop myself from devouring it all at once, so I could have some for later lol. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me find such a delicious choice. UPDATE!!!!10/16/20 I purchased the New York roll like I have the past five times from this location, first of all the roll was sloppy with part of the stuff coming out, they didn’t even add my ginger or wasabi, now on to the worst part, as I’m eating a roll I start feeling itching in my throat and issues with breathing, I spit the roll out and tear open another one to find cream cheese!! I’m allergic to cream cheese, I was so mad I called and ran back to the location and I do apologize for being as mad in front of other customers, but I thankfully had a Benadryl and could make it to the store to buy some more, to prevent me from going to hospital. Why on earth would you put something in a roll, that’s not supposed to be? I will never return to this location or recommend it, you guys could have killed me if I didn’t have that medicine. Also the little girl that came out blaming me, next time please keep yourself in the back, it’s never a customers fault for a restaurant adding an ingredient that wasn’t in the description and that customer having a allergic reaction to it, if I wanted a roll with cream cheese I would have got a roll with cream cheese! Look it up New York Roll no cream cheese!!! Never ever will go back, please check your order before you eat here, I don’t want anybody else to go through what I did. It took me three days to fully recover and all the swelling and rashes to go down. 5 times I have ordered...

My review is going to be a little different than the others. I went to Fresh Sushi Pho for lunch immediately after donating blood at the nearby Red Cross donation center. I used to be a regular blood donor, but hadn't done it in a while. The donation went fine, but when I left the donation center I realized I was very hungry so I walked the few doors down to Fresh Sushi Pho. I ordered the Pho Bo Ne (marinated beef) and when it arrived I was able to enjoy about four delicious bites of it before suddenly becoming very lightheaded, shaky, nauseous, and breaking out into a cold sweat. I had no idea what was going on. I realized I was about to faint, so I called for my server Sol and asked her to please call an ambulance. She was calling 911 just as I slumped to the floor and lost consciousness. I regained awareness a few minutes later to find Sol kneeling over me fanning me with a menu. She and the owners were so kind, caring, and helpful. Sol stayed right there with me, continuously fanning me, for the 25 minutes it took for paramedics to arrive. She was so calm and reassuring and she even let me use her phone to call my husband, as I had accidentally left mine at home. My blood pressure and heart rate were alarmingly low, so I was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital ER. Turns out I had experienced "vasovagal syncope". In plain English: my blood pressure and heart rate plummeted from donating blood and my vagus nerve overreacted, causing the sudden nausea, shaking, and sweating, and it made me pass out! The ER pumped me full of IV fluids, ran some other tests, and a few hours later I was released. Needless to say, my days as a blood donor are over! But I look forward to returning to Fresh Sushi Pho again and again because the food is excellent and, more importantly, the owners and employees are absolutely amazing. I say a million thanks again to them for taking such good care of me when I passed out on the floor of their restaurant during the lunch rush! You guys are the...

We should have left when we saw the now hiring sign. Anyway, we went in and we're immediately seated. We waited over 5 mins to be greeted by waiter and our drink order taken. We asked about unfiltered sake and ordered two. He came back later with two filtered sakes. We thought maybe there was a language barrier issue and went ahead and kept them. We then ordered three different sushi rolls. As we waited for our sushi, three different tables walked in after us. After some time two of the tables received their entire order. We are now getting a bit irritated and looking for our waiter. A different waiter after another few minutes brings out sushi to the third table that had come in behind us. We get her attention and she goes to the sushi bar and comes back with two of our orders. A fourth table has come in after us and they have placed their order and received part of their order before we see a waiter again. We ask about our third sushi roll and we're told that it was ready. We see her go back up to the counter and say something and comes back to our table and tells us it would be out right away. A few minutes later the original waiter comes back out and comes and asks us how our dinner was. We tell him we haven't received all of our food, yet the tables behind us all have and they all came in well after us. He goes up to the counter and the chef and he have a conversation. He comes back to us and says it will be out shortly. At this point my husband and I are done and get his attention and ask for the check. There were only 2 other tables when we came in and after an hour we hadn't received all of our order. On top of that the sushi was mediocre. We ordered rolls that were supposed to be spicy and neither of the two we actually received had any kind of flavor at all. If I could get a half a...
