MUST TRY!!!! We always go to Seis for good Mexican food but this place blew me away!! It is a complete vibe to come here and it reminds me of a place you could stubble inside in Cali! It has a half vegan half regular menu and they change their menu every week. I had a kombucha on tap and it was great & fresh. We had the vegan pastor tacos that were delicious. They have a rather hidden fridge on the side w salsa! Adding the green salsa (not your typical salsa Verde) took the tacos to the next level. We also had the red chilaquiles that were amazing, they came w chorizo, pickled onions (my fave) and beans and a little veggie salad that had a very tasty dressing w some zucchini broccoli and some lettuce. We also had the Birria quesadilla and it was delicious!!! The consume had a lot of flavor and dipping the quesadilla in it made it 10x better. It came w a side of rice and beans, salad and guac and pico. Each place was very wholesome and would have filled you up by itself. We are just a foodie couple that loves to try everything. They have a side fridge w a very big variation of Mexican and regular drinks too. They have lots of art in everywhere. I’m telling you it’s a VIBE! And not in a hipster kind of way but it’s very different/authentic and I loved every part of it. I would say there’s no dress code - casual wear would be fine here. There are a couple of tables inside and some outside too. There’s plenty of parking in the front. Service was amazing here too. You order in the front and then they give you a number and then they bring you your food to the...
Read moreWe are visiting from Columbus,Ohio. When I say 5 stars is not enough, it is not an exaggeration. My brother is vegan and I am not but I am willing to try anything once. I had the Ropa Vieja. You couldn't convince me that I wasn't eating meat. The freshness of everything. Hot chips and salsa, they served "All the powers "with the entre which was a blended rice with fresh veggies, beans ,pickeled onions, and a fresh spinach salad. The team came from the back and greeted us and welcomed us. While we were eating I believe his name is Ricardo( forgive me if I am mistaken) He brought out a pulled pork sandwich with seasoned fries and a type of fruit and dried mango. He offered it to us to sample.... Make it a regular menu Item please..Your food is perfection hands down We will be back before we head back to Ohio. Thank you Wendy and your amazing staff for such an incredible and delicious visit. We will not devour our food and take pictures next time because presentation was amazing as well!

Read moreI was visiting from out of town and was so excited to eat here.. Great energy and atmosphere, and a very interesting and varied menu with many delicious sounding vegan options.
I ordered vegan tamales and the vegan ropa vieja for takeout. I very clearly stated that I wanted the vegan tamales when ordering. I am strictly vegan for ethical reasons so I was truly devastated to get back home to find they had given me real meat tamales. I called them and they were very apologetic and offered to make it right by texting me a gift card, however I never heard from them.
I know mistakes happen but in my opinion this is a pretty severe one to make if you are positioning as a vegan friendly establishment.
Many of the vegan options have a direct meat equivalent, so if you are opting for vegan fare I suggest being very clear at multiple points in the order process (ordering, picking up) to make sure you don't end up with meat on your plate. Don't leave like I did until you've tested and confirmed you got the right dish.
All of that said, I was given the correct vegan jackfruit ropa vieja and it was seriously delicious. So that cheered me...
