Very, very slow service. Don't know if it was all new employees or what but it took us 20-25 minutes of being in the store before we got our food with only a few people in front of us. Many of the entrees were also empty and when people would ask how much longer before it would be ready the girl behind the counter just kept saying 6 minutes but not telling her cooks behind her to start making more and when I got up to to the front to place my order I asked the same girl about the same entree that the woman in front of me had asked about and when I asked her how much longer till it would be ready she just told me six minutes again and I would say about 5 minutes had passed already so I told her you said 6 minutes, 6 minutes ago and didn't really have an answer for me. I pursued an answer further and asked her to ask her cooks for a real number and as I suspected they werent even making it. Why wasn't all this empty stuff being made?? Why was it empty in the first place?? We were there just before dinner rush hit so I would think they know that everyday there is a dinner rush and prep accordingly beforehand to be ready! Otherwise you run into the situation that happened there that night with lots of empty entrees and lots of angry customers. It's better to over prep than under prep! And when they did make more of an entree, they would make so little of it that they would have to almost immediately make it again! What was going on there? It's like these people were clueless. When I got to the register I asked to speak to the manager to complain, as were several other people, and as I was telling him (younger male, general manager apparently, forgot his name, short dark hair) the issues very respectfully might I add, he was just standing there nodding his head and trying not to laugh at me. Are you kidding me?! He was literally smiling and trying very hard not to laugh, apparently he thought it was a joke. He said sorry there's nothing we can do, sorry, sorry, sorry, were down one cook and then after talking to him more he finally offered 20% off our meal. Quite honestly everyone's meals there should have been free. On top of all this we were not given our free "golden bars" because the woman also forgot to give us that as well. One day out of the year this happens for Chinese new year and we just happen to come in on the one single day they are giving away free egg rolls and we get screwed out of them. Unbelievable. Oh well,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went on Friday, April 17th, 2015 approximately around 4:52pm.
-When I visited this location, I had ordered 5 panda bowls.
1 Shanghai Angus Steak w/steamed white rice.
1 Honey Walnut Shrimp w/steamed white rice.
And... 3 Orange Chicken w/fried rice.
My problem with this location is in regards to the orange chicken bowls, the shrimp bowl, and the attitude of the manager, Karla.
When I arrived to take my order, they did not have any Honey Walnut Shrimp nor Shanghai Angus Steak ready, nor did they have enough fried rice to complete the orange chicken orders. I paid for my order, and waited until those items were cooked.
I went home, trusting the order was good; it was awful.
The panda bowl that had Honey Walnut Shrimp and steamed white rice, had only 6 shrimps and not enough rice. In other words, they skimped me on the shrimp and rice. I called the store to complain about this, and Karla offered to replace this bowl for free on my next visit; I would just need my receipt and to mention her name/the conditions of the replacement. I said thank you, she said you're welcome, and hung up.
The 3 panda bowls with Orange Chicken and fried rice tasted AWFUL. The fried rice was burnt, including all the vegetables and egg it comes with. I had noticed this after I got off the phone with Karla. I could not finish my food; it was just that bad.
I called Karla again, and explained that the fried rice for all 3 Orange Chicken panda bowls was horribly burnt. I told her that I was shocked by this, considering that when I first arrived, the chief had to cook a new batch of fried rice in order to complete my order. She offered to replace the whole order, I agreed with that and I told her thank you; and then she hung up on me. There was no apology (during both phone calls), there was no thank you for calling, not even a goodbye on this second call. I called a 3rd time and explained she hung up me as I said thank you; she said she didn't hear me. I think she was apathetic regarding the situation, and wanted to just get it over with asap. Because of this, I will be contacting the Panda Express franchise owner and demand for a refund for the poor customer service and horrible...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you order online, don't show up until AT LEAST 10 minutes after your order is supposed to be ready. Even then, 50/50 chance you will have to wait because they do not possess the capacity to prioritize or organize; so they will be out something. If you show up on time, that is when they will START making the order, and you will probably have to wait.
Today my order was supposed to be ready at 6:15 pm. Got there at 6:19. The teriyaki chicken that they KNEW they needed was out, and they didn't bother to start making more until I showed up. I was told it would be 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, still nothing. The rest of my order was just sitting out. It looked like the chicken was doing and they were dishing it out to other people. When I asked where my food was, they said they were still waiting on the teriyaki, when I asked them about what they appeared to be serving, the server grabbed the bowl with the dregs and rudely said, "you want this?". It took about another 5 minutes for it all to be finished.
Despite all of that, the people at this location continued to prove that they cannot count. Ordering for two people, so I ask for 6 (specifically 6) packets of soy sauce. I got three, and two packets of chili sauce, which I did not request. These have been CONSISTENT problems with the crew at this location.
