Really disappointed with the restaurant. Four of us went to dinner tonight, waited 10+min before we saw a host who we had to ask who our server was. A few minutes later, she showed up and spent two minutes on her tablet trying to figure out how to take our order before she could.
10 min later, drinks came out. Forgot a water. No big deal. Another 10 min later, one of four meals came out and reminded her about the water. 25 min later, two more meals came. 10 min after that, the last meal came. Still no water, had to ask for more. Really frustrating to serve a burger, two orders of chicken tenders, and a club wrap at such different times when they are quick dishes to make.
The server avoided eye contact every time I looked at her and did not check on us enough. My husband waited 35 min for everyone else's food to come out before he ate his, and obviously it was cold at that point. The server had no apologies for the early and late food, and only tried to spark conversation with us when we were ready to leave a tip. For a Saturday night, maybe half the tables were full and we saw at least seven staff members working in the restaurant so we knew it wasn't busy, just incredibly bad service.
Also really unappetizing sitting behind the axe throwing area. Loud, sudden noises every so often with the axes hitting the walls is a pretty bad design flaw.
We love barcades, especially ones with restaurants but we will not be returning due to the incredibly bad service and overpriced food.
To add - we have done several movies here and ordered food in the theatre. Every time service has been incredibly slow, or bad. One time I ordered a refill of a Dr. Pepper. Didn't come for 40 min and then there was literally two minutes left of the movie.
Unfortunately, we have tickets for a show tomorrow but will not be returning after. I hope management reads this and reaches out because we are highly disappointed, and have spent a lot...
Read moreI'll start out with the only reason I gave 2 stars: the food was very good! Our waiter, Benjamin worked hard on his 3rd day on the job, definitely earned his tip!
After bowling we ordered food in the Gastropub. We waited 15 minutes for waitstaff to acknowledge we were there, after being told to seat ourselves wherever we wanted. Several employees walked by our table & there were very few customers, as it was early for a lunch crowd. Benjamin brought glasses of water & told us our waitress would be out soon. A few minutes later he came back & said he'd be our waiter. While taking our order he had to go back to ask about a few things on the menu since it was only his 3rd day on the job. He was very prompt & courteous. After just over an hour of sitting at the table, 30 minutes after ordering our food, we received our food. The food was very good & well presented. However, as slow as our service was, employees standing around chit chatting & loud staff walkie talkies left a bad impression & the good food will not be enough for us to come back or recommend anyone else.
BOWLING IS A WHOLE DIFFERNT STORY: If you are looking for traditional bowling, go elsewhere! Pins are attached to strings, literally. We played 3 games for an hour at $40 an hour. Scoring seemed to be ok but every other frame we'd have to reset the pins because they didn't set up correctly (sometimes more than once). We didn't want to waste any of our $40 hour to have staff fix the pins every other frame. Two employees stood just behind the lanes & never took notice that the pins weren't setting up correctly. This is a good place for kids to bowl but at $40 an hour, not sure if it's worth it! This is my 2nd experience with string pins & again, NOT impressed! No where on their website does it say string pins, even the pictures on the website show free standing pins. Very misleading &...
Read moreIf you're looking for a place to get food and have fun on a weekday or weekend for the family, this is the place to be. They have bands that play. They have bowling with games like angry birds that you could choose to play. They have ax throwing and darts which also have games like tic-tac-toe or other games. There's a lot to choose from. They also have a lot of big screen TVs so it will be the place to be for football this year. If you want a sports bar to go to and bring the kids so that they don't get bored you can either send them to the movies which is right next door so you don't have to worry about them. Or you can send them to the huge arcade or bowling. Or you can have them learn how to ax throw in case of the apocalypse. Either way, it's a place for family fun. They have great service and the servers are very knowledgeable. It's very fun and upbeat. Whether you like football, baseball, basketball or you just want to go to the movies and send your kids somewhere else for a date night. It is an all around fun place to be. Plus, if your kids still play pokémon there's three gyms and two pokey so they can set up lures and walk around and play there also. Without wandering around outside so you don't have to worry about losing little ones to the game. Plus they can also run around and play laser tag and they can get all of their energy out while you sit and relax and watch your football game or watch your movie or sit back and listen to one of the bands play. So it would be a great date night even if you have to drag your kids...
