Starbucks — Restaurant in Tucson

I desperately needed to sit and re-group during my Fry's food shopping disaster ...there was no line at Starbuck's AND an empty chair!!! EZ decision: time-out for a sitting opportunity, and a coffee would give me full reason to sit until I could continue my lean on a cart, no motorized fiasco! I was greeted by a lovely barista?Girl?Coffee entrepreneur?Humanoid? Looks like I need a tutor. She asked what I wanted. I've Never been before, so I had not a twinkle of a clue. " Hot? Cold? Size? What style?". After telling her I was a Starbucks virgin, still the questions... "Cold Brew" (dear in headlights from me). I tried and she was very patient with me. Then I saw the 'sign up and get points'. It occurred to me: this is the closest Fry's on the 2 busses; fry's= no motorized capabilities; I could get chastised again... Well, the reasonable thing to do was sign-up and get points! I had no idea what I ended up getting, but that didn't matter. Yes!!! Please!! I want points! Sadly, the one I bought wouldn't count, but if it makes the fry's backbreaking (feeling like a pioneer old lady pushing a wagon across the plains) nightmare even a bit less traumatic, I'm in! What are the chances I'll use my drip coffee machine on...

Usually very friendly baristas and tasty caffeinated beverages, there can be a bit of a wait at times. I have mixed feelings about Starbucks and their far far left ideals hence the 3 star review and not 5. Maybe one day the corporate folks will wake up and smell their own coffee. Until then I'll stick to other small family owned coffee shops that keep their opinions to themselves and just focus on selling delicious caffeinated treats! Hard to resist the Carmel...

They charge for water!!! I have been a Starbucks customer for years and every time I have asked for a water it has been free. I came to this location when it was 112 degrees outside.
