Cute place! Food is great, here is the breakdown: Food - The flavors were great! The presentation was great! Kudos for having vegan options. I am definitely coming here again to try other flavors. Service - Here is where things go south really quick. My partner and I walked in, we were greeted by two young adults that asked us if it was our first time coming into the store. We answered, yes, that it was. In a very monotone voice, and stoic faces, they said "yay we have first timers". The young man looked like he was sick of working there, his name tag read José. He took our order. We were told that because we were first-timers we would each get a free mandoo. Cool! My boyfriend orders the tofu bowl without the lime sauce and the mayo to keep it vegan. They asked him if he wanted the side of the kimchi that came with it but that it contained fish sauce in it. Boyfriend said no at first but I said yes because I'm not vegan I'll try it. Then I proceeded to order the rock bowl with everything that came with it. We get our order to go. We are handed our order and I tell my boyfriend that the kimchi was not in the bag. He goes and asks for the kimchi. I knew I should've checked my order before leaving, I trusted the people behind the counter. We got to our destination and I opened my bowl, no mandoo, no cabbage, no noodles, only chicken and white rice. Fortunately the vegan bowl was correct, except no mandoo. Disappointing first impression. Also, José kept picking his nose which was not cute when you're working with food. I wish I got the name of the young lady working with José because she was kinda trying harder than he was. Btw, I still left them a tip 🙄 because minimum wage sucks. Atmosphere - it looked like a good place to sit down and eat. However the counter area didn't look very clean which made it lackluster. Overall - The food was great! The flavors were great! I am trying this place again, and I will check my bowl before I leave the establishment.

Like the Panda Express of Korean food.... Very sterile atmosphere with little comfortability to it. Loyalty was pushed on you during checkout, and apparently also if you sit down it's possible for them to approach you about loyalty (which is free and I think it's a punch/stamp card); also do not tell them you are a new customer if you don't want to hear staff's New Customer Cheer which can be pretty startling if you're not into that (or just don't appreciate loud shouting in a small space). Overpriced IMO for subpar food. Go to Korea Rose or Oh My Chicken for a better Korean food experience. Kimchi didn't really taste quite like kimchi should. I love bibimbap, I love KBBQ, I love convenient foods, I love food in BOWLS with rice underneath but this was Not It. Apparently it was also featured on Shark Tank? I would guess this is catered to more mild American tastes as well -- although I'll give them the credit of having lacked the spicier options that day, I was expecting something that would still be fairly flavorful but I really can't describe it with any other way than "Akin to what Panda Express is to Chinese-American food". Meh. I just feel bad for them.

Nothing against this particular location-- staff did exactly as they were supposed to, service was fast and although we couldn't hear due to construction nearby the staff did well and are not to blame for my experience. I just wanted to express for people who are looking for new Korean food places in the city to be warned before going. Good customer service is important; though I will say there is a such thing as over-friendliness, and it can make...
