First Watch provides a wholesome atmosphere to get your morning started on the right track. With their diverse menu, you'll want to return to try everything on the list. Their quick service is a bonus, along with their friendly employees who ensure your dining experience goes smoothly. I've visited twice with my partner in the early mornings between 7:30-8am. There was no wait time, there was a lot of seating, and it was clean. The crowd has varied those couple visits, with one morning having barely any customers while the other was much more lively. In both cases however, I noticed there to be an older crowd- with a few tables seated with people that met up for breakfast. Servers had even greeted them in a familiar tone, evidently showing me that these were regular guests and they established a positive relationship with the staff. This is not just a place to eat, but a place to have fun and bond in this calm area of Tucson. Between both visits, I've tried their BLT Benedict, Million Dollar Potatoes, Cornbread, and their summer special Quesadilla & Tres Leches French Toast. All of them were spectacularly done well, but if I had to choose a favorite, I think I would go with their French Toast. It was so soft and sweet, but not too sugary that it numbed my taste buds. The portions were generous for a small eater like myself; I did need to carry some of the food home- not that it's a complaint. In addition to its great service & food, the lot for this restaurant is easy to park in, and its located near several other stores, including a Fry's Food & Drug Supermarket. So, this is a great spot to eat if you're in a hurry and need to get groceries right after a hearty meal. I plan on returning to First Watch, as they are a place that deserves more attention. I am excited to try everything else that they have to offer.

All of the staff are friendly and the food is very consistent. If you go on a holiday such as Father's Day, expect a special limited menu. If you are GF you can get bread substituted at no extra charge which I really like. Keep in mind the kitchen is not GF and the bread is toasted on a common toaster. The staff will usually mention this when taking your order. If you like your potatoes crispy ask when you order. My favorites are the Farmhouse skillet, quinoa bowl, and elevated egg sandwich. It's amazing to be able to get a gluten free egg sandwich that doesn't taste or look like you're missing out because you got the gf version. They somehow always manage to get the ingredients equally spaced on the bread so every bite has all of the amazing flavors. Cutting into the bread and having the sandwich soak up the yoke is satisfying. Somehow the sandwich stays together while being cut in half and during eating. My only complaint is that it's very loud. The conversations and music create a cacophony that makes table conversations and ordering often difficult.

The hubs and I went on a weekday at 10:30ish in the morning and I was surprised how busy it was (although no wait). We were immediately seated, and the gal came right over to get our drink orders. I almost tried one of their specialty juices but opted for the fresh squeezed OJ which was delicious. The menu is unique compared to your standard breakfast/lunch joint. Unique in that they have specialty items you would not find elsewhere. I ordered off the spring limited menu - millionaire bacon, and the "Croque madame"; the hubs got the green chile chorizo omelet. The food was fresh, tasted delicious and filling. The service was great, we were checked on often enough but not too often. What I liked the most was just the bright and warm *feel* of the place. Worth a visit if you have never come here for sure. Perhaps when I return one day I will do one of their juices.

My husband and I just ate at First Watch in Grant Road (November 18, 2023)The waitress served me the decaf coffee that I ordered and I added the liquid creamer that was already on the table but there's no spoon nor fork nor knife that I can use to mix my coffee with the creamer that I added. I waited so long for the waitress to come. Finally she came by and I ask her for a spoon but she never came back and my coffee is not warm enough anymore. So I went to the front and asked another waitress for a spoon. Finally I can mix my coffee and drink it but it's cold already. The waitress finally came backed but did not bring our spoon. She asked how's our food and seems like she forgot the spoon. I can understand if she's old and forgetful but she looks so young maybe late 20's and looks nice but very bad service or maybe she's tired but it's only 8:00 in the morning. My family and I are regular customer in this place for a decade now. It's our favorite place to eat breakfast and also with friends. This is the first time ever I got bad service. I told my husband not to give her a tip but he did anyway. So my day was ruined because of her. It's ok it's just a spoon but how can you eat your food without spoon. Everyone else was served with spoon except us!!! It's not the end of the world. I'll survive. I asked the waitress name before we left. The waitress name is Mikayla. She definitely needs to be trained again. People go out to eat, enjoy the food especially with the used of fork, knife and spoon and the service as well. Hopefully she will not be our waitress the next time we eat there. The food taste great...

Hello,

My boyfriend and I frequent this location often- I'd say at least 2-3x a month if not more. The customer service and quality of food have always been great but just recently we experienced a level of customer service that I felt deserves a review.

A few weeks ago we came in to have breakfast on the weekend. There was an issue with my boyfriend's meal - I won't go into details but it was a pretty significant issue. We didn't want to make a big deal of it because we've never had any issues previously but we did make our waitress aware of it. The manager immediately comped both our meals, asked if we wanted them to remake both our dishes etc. They were very attentive and apologetic which was much appreciated. We opted to leave for the day and didn't think anything of it past that.

We returned this weekend and halfway through our meal the manager approached us AGAIN, apologizing for the issue we experienced and comped our breakfast for the second time. We were not expecting this at all and were blown away that they even remembered who we were (despite being regulars) but that they would offer to comp our meal a second time.

The issue we experienced was not a deterrent to us returning, and the added customer service and care was above and beyond what was expected.

Thank you First Watch for caring about your customers as much as you do! We will definitely continue...
