I’ve been to a lot of all you can eat sushi places, but this was by far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. The sushi was okay, however what tainted my visit and made this the worst experience was the service and other dishes served. To be fair, again the sushi was not bad, however my mother ordered shrimp yakisoba (stir fry noodles) for $12 and it was literally thick spaghetti with oil, some peas, and carrots, and only 5 shrimps… Yeah… no flavor whatsoever, and just a pathetic dish. Worthless.
3 of us ordered all you can eat and you aren’t each allowed a paper to fill out… okay I can get over this. However what I cannot get over is the fact that they took the paper, 15 minutes later we get the sushi, and they don’t return it! Making this worse, we finish eating, wait 15 minutes, ask the owner for the paper in which she looks around for it, comes back and says “just a moment”. 10 minutes later, still no paper. We finally ask the nicer young waitress and she brought it to us.
At this point, I had pretty much lost my appetite, and only ordered more because we were paying $90 for about $45 worth of sushi orders!!! Absolutely appalling service and the fact that they withheld the paper to reorder ALL YOU CAN EAT for over 25 minutes after we finished just shows it isn’t actually all you can eat. When we did reorder, another 20 minute wait.
Overall an hour and a half spent waiting, for subpar food, and a crazy expensive bill ($120). I would rate it a 2 because the sushi wasn’t terrible, but I’d also rate this a negative star just because it was such bad service, and other dishes. Unfortunately another review where I do not recommend eating here. Just don’t, you’ll be regretting you...
Read moreUPDATE: I actually got kicked out of this place because I kept ordering from their all you can eat menu; they told me to leave and never come back.
They were taking their time getting my orders. I had somewhere I had to be at a specific time, so I placed my last order a good 20-30 minutes before I had to go. After waiting about 25 minutes I informed them I had to go, then they wanted me to pay the full price. I thought this was insane. They informed me I already placed sa few orders and that I should be satisfied, but that is not what is advertised saying "all you can eat."
The problem with this place is they are not honoring the all you can eat and they are so slow that you should expect to spend 3 hours there's. I allowed myself 2 hours there which I thought was ample.
With the lack of customer service here and the attitude towards the customers in addition to the misleading "all you can eat" makes me want to recommend to everyone to STAY CLEAR.
The only thing I did was go in, place a few AYCE orders, then proceeded to get banned by the place. They are misleading and misrepresenting what they offer. Most of the staff is not nice either.
This place used to be my favorite spot. Now I will be sure other are informed that you will get banned for simply getting AYCE.
I like going to this place around once a week. Their all you can eat sushi is pretty good, I think. I've tried a few other sushi places around town, and I've had a few disappointments, but not here.
The staff is always friendly and the quality is consistent. The sushi is pretty fresh as well. They also offer the white tuna which I...
Read moreI don't know what happen to this restaurant, when I first went in there over a year ago, it was a promising prospect of being my main go to the first couple of times and then it started falling off. A tactic I have come to understand to attract and create that bond between customer and product, by putting on some extras and then downsizing afterwards. This time I did not see one staff member I remembered from the last time I was there, so to see a poor product as basically a newcomer, haven't been there for several months, was like wow. Flakes of eel on my eel rolls, the tuna rolls tasted like I hope I don't get sick, they even pulled back on the amount of cupped condiments I used to get. My bill was 45 dollars for pretty much not even a pound of rice, it is sad when there is a higher quality of product 75 yards away at Albertsons, where for 10$ I can get twice the amount of fish or meat than what I saw in my rolls and gyoza from Sakari. And its not worth the deals to sit in and get all you can eat rice with fish flakes. Even the craft of the rolls and presentation were beneath the quality you can get at Albertsons. If I am paying max price no discounts for take out, you should give me a maximum product, not the half priced half fast buffet style sushi you serve your guests. I will never walk through your doors again knowing there is a consistent quality product at the super market, so get it together before you lose more, I wish you all the success...
