Me and my family have lived next to and eaten at this Subway for as long as it has been open and we have never received the kind of treatment that we were given today. Their associate Brandon has most likely lost this location long time regular customers with his incredible rudeness and absolutely terrible attitude. Me and my grandmother went in simply looking for a late lunch. As soon as we walked in, Brandon greeted us with a furious glare and nearly yelled, "What do you want???" My grandmother asked what kind of bread was available and he simply ignored her for thirty seconds, slammed down his bread trays and angrily asked, "So what do you want?" Then I repeated the question for my grandmother and he refused to name the breads available, simply pointing at the screen and saying, "It's right there." My grandmother has trouble reading a screen from that distance, so I had to be the one to read off the flavors of bread for her. Then my grandmother asked if she could possibly get the Spicy Italian without it being spicy and he talked down to her in the rudest way possible about the pepperoni being called spicy but that it was just because other people were wrong. So she asked if she could possibly replace the pepperoni meat with more Salami and instead of offering the sandwich without the pepperoni, he said that she could only get a salami sandwich by itself. At that point, I wasn't going to take my grandmother being treated this way and we walked over to the location inside the Wal Mart. The difference in customer service was absolutely extraordinary. We were greeted with a smile and an apology for what had happened at the other location. We weren't able to get the breads that we originally wanted due to them being still in the oven, but it was more than worth it to be treated like actual human beings. After reading other recent reviews, I can confirm that the angry man they are referring to is Brandon. Get this guy out of there before he completely...
Read moreOh lanta! I came to review the location I visited today and came to see very similar experiences across the board with the same women I encountered today.
I placed my order online, and waited in my car for about 5 minutes watching through the window( trying to see if my order was being made). A younger women short blonde hair was doing that. A man long black hair pink eye shadow was sweeping the floors and putting chairs up. I questioned if they were closing and rushed in to make sure I got my order.
As soon as I entered the building the women mentioned that it’s going to take about 5 minutes. I then told her I had placed an order. She then told me she was making it. And apologized because she had been busy all day.
She went on to tell me she just got a new manager and he doesn’t help. That he left her there all day for a 5 hour shift all alone. He didn’t allow her to take a break, but that was okay because there is a meeting with the owner coming up and she was going to address her concern then.
She went on to complain about costumers from the day.
I then turned to the guy and said well I atleast hope your day was better and he says,” oh, I don’t work here. She’s my friend and I’m just here keeping her company.” This man is working in a store that he is not getting paid to be there while he distracts the staff from doing their job…. Like what ??
Facility itself was clean
Food was…. Very bland surprisingly. Subway is one of my favorites but these sandwiches just missed the bar. My husbands blt had raw bacon.
I don’t know what’s going on with this location but hopefully this new manager can get...
Read moreHorrible service! Staff member present was extremely rude and unpleasant, misleading, presumptuous, and didn't even make a tasty sandwich for all that trouble! I cannot believe I paid money to eat that and be treated like that for simply coming in to order a sandwich. I'm not a "customer is always right" person; I've worked retail far too long to believe that lie. But wow, I would expect the customer to at least be spoken to civilly, without snide comments and eye rolls, given what was ordered rather than told halfway through making it that they were making a different sandwich since they were out of one of my meats (so tell me then and I will order a different sandwich?), lied to about what I would be charged, and then overcharged for a sandwich I didn't even order! And then to find out the sandwich was over -toasted and was both chewy and crunchy and felt stale. I'm sorry but that was definitely in the top five of worst customer service experiences. The place was clean and open. And I've had good subway sandwiches before. That's all I can say, literally. I have NOT ONE single thing I can add that isn't negative. If this person works here, I won't come here. There's a subway three blocks away. I'll drive there, despite the...
