Waffle House — Restaurant in Tucson

I don't often get to go out for breakfast with my mother, and Waffle House found a way to make sure this breakfast was abysmal. My mother ordered an All Star breakfast and I ordered a Texas Sausage, Egg and Cheese sandwich. My breakfast arrived first and it was bacon not sausage. Ok I did not complain, after all I am with my mother and I only have a short window of time to enjoy breakfast with her. Then her All Star arrived. Of course they forgot to bring out the waffle. She asked about it and was told 2 min. What came to her was a burnt piece of waffle imitation. It took longer than 2 min because the cook forgot about the waffle. The waitress offered to make another waffle but we were almost done with our breakfast so my mother turned it down. A few minutes go by and the cook showed up with another waffle, almost as crispy and just as flat as the first waffle. My mother refused it and the cook mumbled "well you just shoulda stayed home". I do not appreciate my mother being disrespected in that way, and as paying customers who pay these people their wages when we eat at the establishment we do not deserve this treatment. Next time we will choose another location. I love my Waffle House breakfasts with my mother but there...

About 2 weeks ago I accidentally found this Waffle House on the freeway and exit 156 while going form Sunday church. I was hungry and just wanted to check it out. Pulled in parking lot full but found a spot. When I walked in I was greeted by the Manger Freddy wonderful gentleman . I sat on the counter and Cindy and I think the other waitress is Willey I had then both times I stopped there. And got great food. Waffle, eggs, toast and some really great sausage and hot taste coffee. Ate everything on my plate. Food coma. During the time Freddy would check on me and talk to him it reminded me of good times with the family and friends going out to a real good restaurant. I went back to Waffle house and got a patty melt sandwich and some great coffee. Once again the Manger Freddy greeted me at the door this last Sunday and I sat on the high top counter. Everything was great. Talked to Freddy and had a wonderful talk and food was great. The waitress and cook's the staff were working hard at there graft and the place was packed and talking family friendly people love it. Go to this Waffle...

I am from the south where Waffle House is very popular with many locations and this location is far from the best. I been to this location 3 different times and each time was terrible. Servers have no hospitality. I came in after work this time and the server was rushing me to fill out my receipt and interrupted me 4 times asking me to fill out the tip and sign while I was still eating. My total visit was only 15ish mins. I told her I’m still eating and I will do it when I’m done eating and she said “well we have a lot of people who don’t realize we get audit for this or they try to get out of paying” and I said I wouldn’t come in with my work uniform and name tag if I was planning to do so. I work literally down the street as a manager that’s not a good look. She didn’t say anything and just walked away. She never asked if I wanted another drink , she didn’t ask if I wanted syrup or any sauces. Tucson has a lot of questionable people but I’m far from that and I feel insulted that she would even apply that.
