I've been to many restaurants, including a handful of Chili's, this is by far the worst when it comes to customer service by the seating staff, we were on a waitlist, arrived on time, still had to wait about 15 minutss which is understandable no issue there, but when they "prepared" our table for 6 adults and 1 child they gave us what seemed to be a 4 person table with 2 extra chairs, plenty of other spaces that could have easily accommodated us, I asked if there was somewhere else we could sit, for example the large booth they have that can sit 8 people, they said no we aren't sitting anyone there anymore. I asked why, and they said because we don't want to, they brought a children's chair for our child, and again, there was no space to place the chair, and it was broken. Overall, the waitress was attentive, and we did not need to wait long. The food is as it always is at sit-down restaurants, but the service provided by a few staff can be fixed. There's alot of work that need done, on top of that if the staff can refrain from making rude comments about us because we asked for a larger table that would be appreciated, your not being sneaky by putting up a menu infront of your face while all 5 of you look at us and judge us. Management was nice but did little to fix the issue, I hope this helps someone, I'd say, drive a little further to the...

First off the Chilli's Restaurant chain is great. Me and my family like their food. However, the Tulare Chili's restaurant is a different story. We have been customers since they opened because we live near by and this place is a easy dinner option for us. Especially when the week gets busy. We are just getting tired of the inconsistency in the service, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and safety of our personal property.
Sometimes they are good, but most of the time we regret dining there. This is because the waiter forgets about us, getting our order wrong, or we just a flat out rude server.
Additionally we have to worry about our vehicle be broken into during our meal. So we strategize which vehicles we will take prior to going. This sounds funny, but just drive bye the parking lot during the day and look for glass on the ground, you will be amazed. If think I am being irrational please read the Tulare Police Department incident report that are publicly published.
Lastly this restaurant is always dirty, even when it is slow. I expect more from a franchise business. It is sad when I go to a taco shop on the westside of tulare and i feel more comfortable eating on a small counter looking out a window, while sitting on a wooden...
Read moreNever again will i order "curbside" pickup. I placed my order online and it said my food would be ready at 12:10 pm. I show up and park right at 12:10 pm and sat there for 5 mins then decided to call and see if they were going to bring it out. Someone answers the phone and say "oh, let me see if its ready" puts me on hold for 7 mins. So i walk in (still on hold) and get rude customer service saying "how are we supposed to know you're out there we dont have cameras, did you get on the app and let us know your here?" i said no, i ordered online, entered what kind of car i was in and then called 7 mins ago to remind you all i was here and then got ignored so i decided to come in. Its now 12:25 and im still waiting for my order (which was just a cup of soup btw). The waitress didn't even apologize for the mishap she just said "well we cant help you if you didn't let us know you were here" (which is only an option if you order on the app). Long story short, It took 20 mins to get my cup of soup from a curbside pick up order. I know you all are very busy, but customer service should be #1 and i got a rude...
