The choose two listed on the menu does not let you actually choose two of the same item. You have to pick two different items. This was not told to me until after I had paid and was looking at my receipt. When I brought that fact up the guy let me know he was sorry and should have said something. There was no offer to correct the difference in price.
The chairs are majorly uncomfortable, the turkey was dry. There is not very much meat on the Italian. The beef was VERY peppered as the only seasoning.
I feel that you get a better selection, flavor, and value from just about any other sandwich place.
Update in response to their response When your response to my concerns and feedback is, "well sure we did that, but you were still at our restaurant for a while" does not give me hope for your business.
The chairs are all the same, so the only option was to sit or stand. It sounds like having bad chairs is intentional so that people will leave quicker, not that they will enjoy eating at your restaurant, which is never a good sign. If you had been paying attention to your customers instead of all playing on your phone and looking at funny videos together you would have seen that we had an infant that we also had to feed. That means one person is feeding them while the others eat, then they get to eat after. That takes time. All while sitting in a chair that digs into your hips.
You also did not address the concern about having a sign that says choose two for a specific price but does not say anywhere on it that you cannot choose two sandwiches. If you do a choose two at just Abbott any other restaurant (such as Panera bread right down the street) you CAN choose two sandwiches.
Lastly you did not address the concern about dry meat or peppery beef. Just because you make it daily, does not make it any less dry or...
Read moreI would prefer to give zero stars. I took one bite of my Philly and spit it out. It tasted off, like the cheese and meat tasted sour. My wife’s French dip was unevenly cooked and full of pink which she did not like. She went in and politely asked if she could just have a refund as we did not want the sandwiches. The employee walked over to the manager, he told the employee call Sam I’m not doing it. Never came over to address the situation or my wife. The employee proceeded to explain with attitude how a couple came in earlier in the week and took two or three bites and made them refund their money. Confused by the statement as it was our first time there so my wife stated that it wasn’t us. She said she knew it wasn’t. She then got attitude with my wife for not bringing her change back in with her. Our money was refunded, but never given an apology and was treated poorly. Would...
Read moreFirst time. We had a turkey and French dip sandwich, chicken soup, chips and drinks. Place seemed unorganized when we came in. They hand out a handful of sandwiches to people with no bag or tray. No one ever came out and cleaned the tables. It was loud and echoes in the building. Our sandwiches were good. Apparently white bread is your only choice, as is the vinegar oil spice dressing which is not noted on the menu but was present on the turkey sandwich. The French dip was cooked instead of raw beef, which was nice, and the au jus was flavorful. The chicken soup was yhe typical store bought soup with carrots in it everyone seems to serve; it was warm. Overall, for our first visit, we would call this place average; we may or may...
