Because the person taking my order called back lemon root beer float I shouted "Blended!" then normal voice blended please not lemon. I was told I would get my total at the window. There was a rigamarole at the window but I repeated, "Blended root beer float" I was asked "Were you got back there?" I, confused, said Well, yeah. I watched as twice the mixture of ice cream & root beer flew from the cup as soon as he put the blender to it. 3 seconds? If that. I put a straw in. Not blended. I was told in effect it would "melt and blend in the process" I asked for manager. She NEVER would listen. I told her I'm not saying it to complain but that the person who made it obviously did not know the trick, that he needed to be taught she repeated 3 times it was rung up wrong. I told her that I told him exactly what I wanted when I got to the window. (If she had been LISTENING to me she would know her pre-planned 'excuse' given as soon as she got to me did not fit. SEEING THE LUMPS I could tell I got same drink back! Gave up on the circus, but no STRAW. Waited. Finally laid on my horn to get someone's attn. Mgr gave one moment sign. Waited. Done with all of it now I shouted to be heard not a soul had come to see what's up. "A STRAW!! ALL I WANT IS A DAMN STRAW" by this time at least 4 cars were waiting behind me. Mgr said, "I will not be shouted at, get out." Nope. I ate my dinner in Sonic Drive through till an employee brought me a straw. I told him, smiling with a mouth full, "T.Y. have a good evening" and left. Sunday 11/8/20 7:30-8:00p Mgmt down ALL employees there need trained again. 2nd lesson customer service when customer has a complaint? Listen to your customer first. 3rd lesson don't B.S. if you have to smooth things at least listen to know how to smooth to fit the situation. But FIRST LESSON if everyone knows their work (hello how to make what you earn your money from) and knows where they're supposed to be and when, then the customer will be happy & there's no need for the rest. Teenager? I get it, he is new to cust svc but a mgr should have it memorized backwards...
Read moreThis is the worst sonic… my business partner and I go to a few around Tulsa for drinks at lunch and this is the only one we absolutely hate. The others we love so much we know the carhops by name and they know us but this one is horrible. The service is terribly slow every time and the staff is never friendly. The food is usually wrong and doesn’t taste fresh. Today was no exception… we get there around 12:15 and hit the button (one maybe two other cars there at the time) and are asked to wait (ok no problem) takes about 5 minutes or more then they come back to take our order (still no new cars pulled up) we order finally and then a couple mobile orders show up and those get taken care of while we wait… and wait… and wait… I click the button again to make sure we haven’t been forgotten because no other sonic is this slow and she says it’s just the two of them working today. I’m like ok that sucks so I can be patient but then the girl who brings my food takes my card to run it and my friend takes a drink and realizes it’s nasty (tea is too sweet, we asked for half and half) so when she brought my card back I asked if she could please fix the drink and also get us some condiments (I asked for these when I ordered) and she gave me such attitude… like I just asked her to give me her first born or something. The picture is a perfect representation of my experience here… disappointment (this is also how my cheddar bites came out so I bet they were double fried because they tasted terrible and they were all smooshed or all the filling was fried...
Read moreGot there and went to one of the menu screens to order. I pressed the button and waited…. Then waited. I waited for about 15-20 minutes to only for the screen to turn off on me. Decided try again because I wasn't in a rush and didn't need to be somewhere for a while. Once the button was push again I waited a couple minutes for someone to answer it. When a lady come on the speaker, before I could say anything she told me that she'll get to me in minute. Waited about 10-15 minutes then decided to press the button to see if I could order now.
A new voice come on the speaker and asked what I will be having, I barely in my order ( which was a med. burger combo with a soda) before she said “ hold up, give me one minute and ill take your order” as I basically finish saying it. Got upset about now and decided to see if the line, which was nonexistent, was any better.
Got up to menu and waited, while listening to the employees seemingly arguing, though I couldn't quite tell from either hearing them from the speaker or from their open drive-thru window. After 5 minutes I just left which apparently I wasn't the only one because a lady yell out.
I just went to Whataburger instead, which is only a two-minute drive. It was easy, and quick, the customer service was better than Sonic’s, and I got to go inside instead of sitting in a car in the heat. I get anyone has their bad days but it seems like this location is always...
