Go to the Bixby location...it seems to be cleaner and better serviced. This one gave a poor first impression. It's dirty. Silverware looked dirty. Food doesn't look or taste as nice or good as at Bixby. The sandwich was so "wet greasy", it fell apart and caved in, and the meat and spinach fell kept falling out onto the table and floor. The server brought all of our party's food to the middle of the table and put all plates down there, which felt odd. Some orders were wrong. They were out of unsweeet tea, thus I paid for a drink I couldn't have. They weren't making more tea because it was 50m till closing. The choices of all other drinks is pop and lemonade and all are too sweet for me, and all the other teas are extremely sweet, so the store should just close for the day if they're going to sell unsweet tea but not provide it just bc it's 50m till close. There were 2 sips of unsweet tea that came out of unsweet urn, and that tea did not taste good, anyway, bc that was old. I never got my side order and the chips were not what I'd ordered, so a poor first impression. The server had a handful of dirty looking silverware that was plopped onto the middle of the bare table that was not clean when we sat down. I felt disgusted by our first time visit to that location. Our party didn't matter to that location, since we came in within the final hour of the day. The parking lot is old and hard to see the parking lines in the dark, so even that was a first bad impression. Shame on the owners who rent out those shops to have such a crummy parking lot for the businesses and patrons. The overall experience was poor and I will not return to a Jason's Deli. I went to the Bixby location twice and liked that one, but this 61st street location just canceled all Jason's for me. I left hungry and thirsty, but at least the overly saturated sandwhich oil helped with the newly cold weather dry skin of my hands, tho' it gave me a gag me feeling and a nauseous tummy trying to eat it. We spent $70 for about nothing. Thank you, but no thank...
Read moreI would like to give this location a 5 starrating but I am giving them 3 stars instead. The team at this store made a handful of very simple mistakes that could have been easily avoided with a little more attention to detail. I placed an online order for delivery and called to be sure that ranch dressing was added to my order. Early on in the call, I mentioned that this was an online order placed for delivery but the staff memeber I spoke with could not locate my order. At this point, my call was escalated to the manager and I was told the exact same thing as before, but this time he offered to call the other near by location for me to be sure that they did not have my order. After a bit of waiting the manager came back to the phone call and informed me that they had finally located my order in their system. The delivery was quick after that but when I go to check my bags, my entire order is not present. I call back to get a resolution, only to be told to call back later because the store was busy. I hung up looked up the location which was much closer than I had realized and drove (across the street) to get my complete order. When I got there, they were in fact not busy except for 3 or 4 customers who were already seated and enjoying their meals. I actually got to speak to the young lady who told me they were too busy to help me at that time and she brought the manager who was able to complete my order and throw in a few small extras for my inconvenience. Ultimately, my problems were resolved without a giant fuss and I am appreciative of that, but the experience could have been...
Read moreTerrible service!!! I ordered a TURKEY sandwich for takeout and got home and had HAM and SALAMI on it. I am someone who cannot have pork in any form. When I called to try to correct the issue, informing the lady that I could not have pork, she snapped at me saying they don’t sell pork.. I told her again that it had ham and salami on it, which are both pork. She paused and then snapped at me again saying “that sandwich doesn’t come with salami or ham on it” to which I reassured her was the exact reason I was calling to correct the order. She said come pick it up, and don’t forget to bring the old sandwich and hung on me. I showed up asking for my new sandwich, and they said they wernt making a new sandwich. I asked why? They said they had no reason to remake a sandwich since they did not hear anything about my phone call five minutes prior. I had to explain my whole situation again, to which the man did not believe me and was getting upset with me. Finally, after disappearing into the back for ten minutes, has a cool remake my sandwich. However, the cook made it with ham. Again. I asked them to remake it AGAIN with ONLY turkey on it due to me being unable to have pork/ham/salami/bacon etc and they were upset with me and rudely handed me my new sandwich and said “here” and then turned around and left into the back. Worst customer service I’ve...
