UPDATE: This place remains a disaster. The problem is a combination of chronic understaffing and the failure of their model to provide a governor on orders. They have people ordering on the app, ordering deliveries, ordering through DoorDash or GrubHub, and walk-ins. They get too many orders and can't keep up, and there's nothing telling you on the app or what-have-you that there's a long wait. So say you order a pickup on the app, and 30 minutes later you go to pick it up, only to find out that they way behind and your order may be another hour or more. They don't have enough people to even stop to give you a refund. There is no notice. Only angry customers, and frustrated and overworked employees, and a system that does not prepare the sandwiches in order, and an unwillingness to say, hey, we can't take your order. This may be a franchisee, but it's a mega franchisee in Colorado that may as well be a corporation. They only want profit, and don't care at all about customers. I have changed the atmosphere to one star to reflect the anger of the disappointed crowds waiting way too long for a sandwich they paid for but may never get.
Starting about a year ago, the quality of service at this location and the location downtown plummeted (same franchisee), even as most service industry companies improved post-COVID. There was a near complete turnover of staff. Now, they can't keep their employees, and they can't timely make sandwiches. I had to wait two hours for a sandwich once, and had to cancel an order after an hour's wait another time. I see lots of angry customers at lunch. I wonder if there is a new, worse franchisee. Jersey Mikes isn't having this problem. Other places in Tulsa don't have this problem. Jimmy Johns in other places don't have this problem. Add to that, today, they started a 4/20 "Dope Deal" marketing campaign to handle your "munchies" this week, that glamorizes drug use and trivializes the risks of marijuana. Shame on...
Read moreOrdered a small sandwhich meal and was charged for and got the big one. I waited for my small sandwich to be called out while the big one set there. I said something to the guy that I ordered the small one and instead of fixing my problem, he just kept making and calling other people up that entered the store after me. I checked my receipt and they charged me for the large one and I just grabbed my sandwich and left. Not what I wanted. I hate to waste food and had no way to preserve the sandwhich. Ended up eating the whole thing and wrecking my calorie count for the day. For someone watching what they eat for dietary reasons, don't come here if you want a small. They were so focused on the big catering order that they rushed through the regualr customers and did not listen. I felt like we were insignificant livestock that was getting the scraps. I wont be back to this location. They got two stars because the food was actually good, too large for my calorie count, just the...
Read moreOrdered a sandwich on 9/8/2022 at 1:00 and noticed when I walked in the 2 guys making my sandwich were goofing off playing with the mayonnaise and joking with each other as he put 3 huge scoops on the bread and then sloppily proceeded to wipe some off the bread laughing the whole time. I thought surely that isn’t mine and went to fill my drink. Unfortunately, that is the sandwich he was making for my order. I called the store after getting home 10 minutes later and the phone was answered by someone laughing. Clearly they need some mature supervision in there. Jimmy Johns is my favorite for sandwiches but I will be hesitant to order from this...
