I called before coming to the location to ask about the hot sign. They said it was on; and I asked if it would be in 20 minutes because that’s how long it takes for me to get there. The lady on the phone said yes. So I get there in 14 mins. The guy, who I believe is a shift manager because no way he’s the GM, is super ignorant and rude. He was working the drive through. I had a code to scan on my app, he was frustrated you could tell by his face. Secondly; it was Apple Pay. He looked at me with a straight face for about 5 seconds before taking my phone. That alone was already not a good experience because why are you so impatient to a customer already at 9 am? We pull off and my donuts are cold. Cold as in they either were in the fridge or cooked hours and hours ago. But to my knowledge, I was told the hot sign was on so even if I missed it being on, the donuts would still be warm. Some type of warmth. Nope. Cold. I call back up there and the same lady answers. She was super nice. She told me that I could come back in and she would get me warm donuts. As I was walking in. I was met with the same man from the drive-through and he looked at me and said “what now? as if I’ve caused him any type of inconvenience? then proceeded to tell me he has no warm donuts or hot donuts and that it would be a long wait and then he went to the back to check and said it would be till 915 which is approximately 30-45 minutes from now. I just find the entire interaction completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I work in the serving industry so I’m very patient and kind to others as well. If I did this to a guest, I’d be fired. I can only imagine what other issues he is causing if he was acting that ignorant & rude as he was to a...
Read moreI apologize in advance, but we visited on National Donut day just a week or two ago and I was really disappointed in a majority of the experience. I remember when they first opened in Tulsa and lines would wrap around or even during Covid-their drive thru stayed so busy. Whenever we walked in I needed to use the restroom and the staff member was very polite and gave me the code. She also took time to look up my gift card balance. Which was nice. My daughter and I went to the restroom to find the trash bin overflowing with paper towels and the soap dispenser didn’t work and I needed more than just sanitizer so I had to use the men’s which was also unclean. At this time we were the only customers and there were at least 5 workers in the store. One at the register, one at the drive thru, one tending to the donuts in some way and one beginning to sweep now. When we asked if there were other donuts they said no. There was extremely limited selection however it was late in the day, I just expected at least a half dozen glazed and chocolate glazed instead of specific odd flavors like key lime pie. The glass case was smeared with donut glaze and icing and one smashed donut was falling down in front and I just thought it was a bit unprofessional. They likely had time to do a quick wipe and cleanup. There were no napkins in dispensers at all and the donuts themselves were a bit hard. I gave two stars because the workers were nice. But everything else was sad to see. I Would have loved to been this teams coach and step in and show them that there’s always something that can be done in down time to go a long way to portray and nice clean eating environment. I hope you can do it Krispy Kreme and get back to how...
Read moreThe first two times we came here, there weren't any ingredients to make iced coffee (we were told). Came by a few days later when they'd have the ingredients. Lobby is still closed off so it takes forever to get through the drive-thru line. Not a biggie as long as your order is correct the first time. My husband didn't like his lukewarm coffee he received the first time we went through the line and gave it back even though it would've been free. I can barely drink my second coffee we had that was fixed after the second time through the line, tastes terrible. Wouldn't suggest stopping by on your way through town if you're in a rush. I can't get upset about the employees as they were trying. Krispy Kreme in general is hit or miss it seems through our travels. Had a good experience at one Krispy Kreme in OK (Catoosa, I believe?). The rest in OK, NM, LA and TX have really just been a waste of time. Either closed, lacking ingredients, or they don't know how to make one of the only two items they serve. Bummer considering I pay with gift cards and can't really do anything about it. Will probably go back to Starbucks after this experience, which is a let down because at the right Krispy Kreme, KK has better tasting coffee, with more caffeine, at a more affordable price. The gamble in the food and service makes it not worth the time of a visit, however. Maybe this area is lacking when it comes to training and ensuring their inventory...
