Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Tulsa

This Sonic HAS TO BE how the original Sonic was when it was started in 1953 in Oklahoma as Top Hat Drive In. It’s so good! It’s like a miniature actual restaurant / time portal to the 1950s (or what I imagine it being like lol). This Sonic is like if a very rich person who grew up on Sonic and classic amazing food made by a drive in, wanted to taste that and be able to experience it, and didn’t care if they lost money or turned a profit as a Sonic owner as long as the food was FIRE, but just wanted that super amazing Sonic food, so they bought a Sonic Richie Rich style and they operate it at a loss but have the best OG Sonic food ever so it’s alright by them. If Richie Rich doesn’t own this Sonic then SHAME on all other Sonic owners! Because if a Sonic can operate as excellently as this one does and be sooooo much better than every other Sonic (or fast food restaurants in general for sure) with out paying their employees 3X more and losing business because it takes them 2x longer to actually cook the food fresh, then why isn’t every Sonic like this…..or even semi close to this one? The employees, owner, manager, etc should be extremely proud…..because this place is a hidden gem. Big ups Richie Rich Sonic owner of this location....

I've been coming here for almost 10 years taking the last 6 months off but I guess in that time they've added or changed staff members which makes me super sad & extremely disappointed not only was the food over cooked & gross which i wish i wouldnt of paid for it but I was told they couldn't split my payment with half cash & half debit card. I told them I needed to do a split payment when I ordered so the boy that brought my order to me told me no they didn't do split payments, I didn't know that him so he had to be new& him m telling me they couldn't split my payment really wasn't true, I asked him to please go back I to the store & ask another team member to help him be cause they've done split payments before with the other carhops & in the drive through. It was an extremely long wait with the food turning out horrible & almost being left by my ride. It was just a horribly bad situation, i wish you all would make it right since the food was trash it took over 20 minutes to get the bag of ice cheeseburger burnt corn dog onions rings & the drink Worse experience & disgusting food. The time now is 7:45 p.m. on a Friday night. I'd use the Sonic app like I do several times through the week to order ahead in order to save time. I ordered a large Dr Pepper with cherry at 7:20pm. When I arrived I parked install three got on the app put in my stall number and waited and waited and waited and waited. I was the only customer in the pickup area as well as the only customer at the restaurant. After almost 15 minutes I pulled in to a different style that had a speaker called and finally they decided to answer. I told them that I had been installed three no one ever brought out my drink ask him how long does it take to fill a cup with Dr Pepper and ice and they said that when it was ready they would bring it out. Now for being the only customer here and having a simple large beverage there is no reason why you should take 15 minutes and the CarHop be rude about it when I'm the one that's been waiting. What's the point of having the The Order ahead if it takes just as long if not longer than it normally does when they're busy. I will never ever visit this Sonic again they need educate their employees on how to be courteous to paying customers or to anyone for...
